Votecastr, Politico and other tools for keeping track of results

Ballot Access News:

Politico has its web page all positioned to include election returns for president from every state. See the link, which of course doesn’t yet show any vote totals. Every candidate who is on the ballot in any particular state is listed. Thanks to Gregory Koch for the link.

Also at BAN:

VoteCastr will attempt to tell the world what the vote for president is, in eight swing states, starting at 11 a.m. eastern time on election day. VoteCastr does this by first obtaining the names of voters who voted early, and then by using exit pollsters in seven of those states (but not in Colorado, where the vast majority of votes are cast by mail). The seven states are Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. Slate explains how VoteCastr works here. Thanks to Political Wire for this news.

Votecastr state by state results include Johnson and Stein.

Fivethirtyeight.com’s final analysis is here.

Please suggest other sites and tools for helping us, and you, keep track of the results in the comments on this post.

Johnson pulling 3.8% in Indiana and 2.1% in Kentucky from the very early results.

Johnson/Gray won 1.9% in Indiana back in 2012 and his best state that year was New Mexico with 3.55%.

Gary Johnson has crossed 200,000 vote mark by my calculations. None of the major outlets are including him in their topline totals, you’ve gotta add the states by hand.

Miller (TX RR Commissioner) did less well in the early vote, is doing better in the on-time vote, so the situation does not look to be impossible.

And thanks to Alicia for giving us the link.
