Bowers’ defense made a motion to suppress statements made by him previous to his Miranda Rights.
There was a hearing. Motion denied.
The US Attorney has filed Notice of Death Penalty.
I remember my Judge, James T. Giles, USDC Eastern PA, used to sign his denials with a very large signature.
What a debacle that was. 1985.
My recommendation to Bowers would be that he should testify before his jury.
If I am allowed to present his case to his jury, I will defeat the arrogant US Attorney, no matter where the venue is. Harrisburg, Philadelphia, District of Columbia have been mentioned in the motion.
Bowers affirmative defense is that persuasive.
I would anticipate the Change of Venue Motion to be Denied.
But once in a while the defense gets some justice.

  2. Robert Milnes

    First Abbas-Gantz. Now this.
It looks to me like the logical progression from some acceptance of a radical peace proposal (Sinai?) to its gradual negotiation and implementation.
Note the repeated mention of “international legitimacy” by the Palestinians.
I think they want to be certain that Israel sees their status as the recognized-by the United Nations-sole representative of the Palestinian people.

  3. Robert Milnes

    What is this?
It seems to me to be in direct contradiction to Abbas-Gantz and Lapid-al-Sheikh.
Two opposing factions in the Israeli government?
And The “international legitimacy” of the PA Palestinian Authority with opposing factions.
The Trump Abraham Accords v. The Sinai Proposal?
    Stay tuned for this outcome.

  4. Robert Milnes

I mentioned it in my Amicus Curiae brief.
    And in BAN comments.
    Both sides know about it.
I suspect Sinai has been a possible alternative for a long time.

  5. Nathan Norman

I hate to burst your bubble but nobody read your brief. And nobody of any real consequence reads your comments at BAN other than to laugh at them. Your comments are the equivalent of the homeless man on the street corner. It’s sad I have to be the person to tell you this but I deal in reality.

  6. Robert Milnes

    NN aka paulie,
Let’s trash IPR with garbage and gaslight comments, shall we?
    Get some laughs.
See if we can push Austin’s buttons like Richard’s.
    Poor Richard’s blog.
Interesting that no one else here at IPR has not cared enough to tell me all this.
I guess they did not want to gaslight…hurt my feelings.
    So considerate!

  7. Nathan Norman

It must be because an unemployed former convict in NJ who regularly talks about news girls spying on him through his television set as he masturbates to them posted a comment on BAN about relocating all the Jews in Israel to uninhabitable land in Egypt. Must be.

  8. Robert Milnes

    What is this?
It looks to me like Erdogan is trying to support the US and Zionist Israel i.e. The ZOG.
By unverifiably announcing a visit from largely ceremonial President Herzog.
Meanwhile Abbas-Gantz et al completely circumvent Herzog.
    But what do I know?

  9. Robert Milnes

It looks to me like my “The Sinai Proposal” has struck some sort of chord in Israel. Like it has been on a lot of peoples’ minds for a long time. Whether unspoken, or not. Whether unarticulated or not. Whether government policy or not.
The jews are not stupid, uneducated, unsophisticated. Quite the contrary. They must have pondered their predicament. They have no homeland but the area they most relate to is already occupied. What to do?
Relocating must have been considered. Sinai must have been at least considered. It could be called uninhabitable. I prefer the word undeveloped.
Their present location is not sustainable.

  10. Robert Milnes

Well, if there is one thing everyone who knows me knows about me is that I do not do drugs.
    Multi-vitamin/mineral daily supplement.
    Fish oil softgel. OOOOOOOOO!
Haven’t heard much if anything from or about Kris recently.
I asked him to interview Bowers.
    No. I was disappointed.
    That was about it.

    Robert Milnes aka Krzysztof Lesiak,
    Living in fantasy world.
    Strung out again?
    Don’t do drugs, kids.”

You think Milnes and Lesiak are the same person? I doubt this very seriously. Unlike you, Milnes and Lesiak revealed themselves as being real people and those are their real names.

Who are you? I still suspect that former State LP Chair. I also suspect you could be Lesiak.

I have a few other suspects in mind.

  12. Robert Milnes

    Andy, aka Plant Man.
    Thank you.
BTW, did you see above my request for your opinion about the topics here? Israel/Palestine and Bowers and their possible connection?
Also BTW, what happened to Traditionalist?
He was dogging me, now it seems NN is dogging me.
Can you think of a punny nickname for him?
    I’m working on it.
Trad The Impaler is as far as I got.
There MUST be something punnier than that!

  13. Traditionalist

    Mr. Milnes,

Nothing happened to me. I have had other matters to attend to, and will talk to you all again if and when time allows and I feel it is warranted. Honestly, you are not giving me much of a reason to participate here. The signal to noise ratio is woeful, and you are constantly accusing me of being someone I never heard of and failing to respond to simple questions about your beliefs. I was not “dogging” you if you mean giving you a hard time on purpose – I merely attempted to engage you in conversation. That may have been a mistake.

  14. Andy

I am NOT Michael Seebeck. Michael Seebeck and I are both known individuals in the Libertarian Party. Multiple people can vouch for our identities, and we are both on multiple videos posted online.

  15. Nathan Norman

    If you say so, “Andy”.

Why won’t you answer Milnes’s questions?

Do you support the right to kill unarmed elderly Jews as they worship in the synagogue?
Do you support the forced relocation of Jews from their homes and communities in Israel to the uninhabitable desert in Egypt?
Do you believe TV news girls spy on viewers as they masturbate to the newscast?

  16. Jared

Andy is way too composed to be Mike Seebeck. Andy doesn’t suffer psychotic breaks and start hurling first-grade insults whenever Caryn Ann Harlos is criticized, so they can’t possibly be the same person.

  17. Ed Johnson

Aside from being overly vague, Andy’s claims to be a verifiable real life person suffer from an additional defect. That is, even if they are true, they don’t prove anything. It was Andy himself who brought up that members of the libertarian and socialist worker parties in the 1970s turned out to be government agent’s or informers. These were not pseudonymous people online. They were flesh and blood people in the real world who were well known to their fellow party members, attended events, and did work for their parties. If they had had YouTube back then, these government agent’s would have been in YouTube videos. So, proving that someone is using their real name, even if Andy or anyone else did that, doesn’t prove that they are not a government agent.

  18. Robert Milnes

An interesting report here that presiding Senior District Court Judge Donetta Wypiski Ambrose, 76, is to retire in early February. The case will be assigned to a new judge.
    Coincidence?

    No.

“Do you support the forced relocation of Jews from their homes and communities in Israel to the uninhabitable desert in Egypt?”

I like Caryn Ann Harlos as a person, but I refrain from such behavior.

Michael Seebeck seems to be good friends with Caryn Ann Harlos. He has appeared in a bunch of her videos.

  21. Robert Milnes

    NN aka paulie,
    Very clever.
“Why won’t you answer Milnes’s(sp) questions?”
“I have not people(sp) [been]? paying close enough attention to him to even know that he asked me any questions.”
I posted some headlines and links. And my own comments, observations, speculations, etc.
I asked Andy his opinions about these, not questions.
He says he has not been paying close enough attention. So he can’t offer much of an opinion or answer questions either.

    Aside from being overly vague,”

Overly vague?!?!?!? I have only attended numerous Libertarian Party national and state conventions, and local party meeting and other events. Lots of people have met or seen me in person, and there are also multiple videos with me in them posted on YouTube, some of which have been posted here, and I have even made it into some news articles.

Who in the heck are you?

“Andy’s claims to be a verifiable real life person suffer from an additional defect. That is, even if they are true, they don’t prove anything. This is actually a good point. A person could be a planet and operate under a fake name, or their real name.

  23. Ed Johnson

    “Overly vague?!?!?!?”

Yes, overly vague. If I actually cared, which I don’t, you have not given me enough information to verify your claims.

“Lots of people have met or seen me in person, and there are also multiple videos with me in them posted on YouTube, some of which have been posted here, and I have even made it into some news articles.”

These are what is known as vague claims. You have not produced the people who allegedly met you, or the links to the videos (with time stamps of where in the videos you appear, unless it’s for the whole video) or news articles. We have only your word that they exist. Don’t worry, I’m not asking you to do any of that, because I don’t actually care, because…

“This is actually a good point. A person could be a (plant) and operate under a fake name, or their real name.”

Thus, whether my name is real or fake tells you nothing about whether I am a “plant” or not (I am part of the animal kingdom, not the plant kingdom, but I don’t care whether you believe me), and the same is true of you. Therefore, I don’t need verification of your vague claims, and you don’t need to know whether my name is real or fake or anything else about me or anyone else other than what they feel like telling you – and then it’s up to you and everyone else to decide for your/themselves what to believe and what not to believe about that.

  24. Andy

Notice above that “Ed Johnson” (I doubt this is his real name) dodged the part about me asking who he is. I am not surprised. “Ed Johnson” is likely another troll posting under a fake name.

  25. Ed Johnson

Notice that I did not dodge anything. I addressed your question directly. You’ve admitted that a troll, plant, agent or whatever you want to call them can operate under a real name. Thus, knowing whether my name is real or fake would not answer the real question that you are implying by asking it. I’ve cut through the clutter and just told you directly that I am not a troll, plant, or agent. You have no more reason to believe or disbelieve that than I do to believe or disbelieve that “Several people who post here have either met, or seen me in person.” Another vague claim that proves nothing. Luckily for you I am not asking for actual proof, because I don’t care, because as we have both now agreed it doesn’t matter.

You have also recently admitted that there are any number of legitimate reasons for people to maintain their anonymity or use a pseudonym. Thus, even if you could prove that my name is fake, which you haven’t and can’t, that would not mean that I am a troll, plant, agent, etc. And even if you could prove your vague claims about yourself, which you haven’t and may or may not be able to, it would not prove that you are NOT a troll, plant, agent, etc. Thus the question of identity is simply irrelevant to whether you or I or anyone else is a troll, plant, or agent.

  26. Robert Milnes

    What is this?
It looks to me like Abbas-Gantz et al publicly arguing about a Palestinian state with Prime Minister Bennett et al.
Trump Abraham Accords v. The Sinai Proposal?

  27. Andy

“Ed Johnson’s” writing style sounds very similar to that of “The Traditionalist”.

    Are they the same person?

  28. Ed Johnson

No. I don’t even want to know what part of your colon you pulled that one out of. I sound like an 80 something year old racist who doesn’t want women to be allowed to vote? What?

Andy’s just mad that I pulled the rug out from under all his ego games. Let’s review what he already admitted I am right about:

    1. Plants/trolls/spies/government agents can and do operate under their real names. Andy agrees.

    2. There are lots of good, legitimate reasons for someone to write or comment under a pseudonym which have nothing to do with trolling. Andy agrees.

So with those two facts agreed on, what does Andy have left?

    A. If it mattered who Andy was, he hasn’t posted anything to prove it to anyone other than the alleged people who allegedly already know him. Other than that, we only have only Andy’s own word “trust me because I always tell the truth and I never lie.” Luckily for Andy it doesn’t actually matter due to 1 and 2 above.

    B. If it mattered if my name is real or fake, Andy has not done anything to prove or provide any evidence that it’s fake. But again it does NOT matter because of 1 and 2 above.

Bottom line: due to 1 and 2, it doesn’t matter who uses a real name and who doesn’t. If it did, Andy has done nothing to either show that his name is real or that mine is fake. But the more important thing is it doesn’t matter.

Whomever “Andy” claims I or anyone else sound like next won’t change these facts. Game, set, match.

  29. Ed Johnson

    Robert Milnes,

When the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter is found guilty and executed, will you dig up his grave, take his body to the Sinai, and sit around in the desert masturbating to t.v. newscasters while injecting covid vaccines every 15 minutes with his corpse propped up sitting by your side?

  30. Andy

    “Ed Johnson

No. I don’t even want to know what part of your colon you pulled that one out of. I sound like an 80 something year old racist who doesn’t want women to be allowed to vote? What?”

That 80 plus year old man could be just a fake character somebody is playing.

“Andy’s just mad that I pulled the rug out from under all his ego games. Let’s review what he already admitted I am right about:”

So says the person nobody knows. How many minor party conventions, events, or meetings have you attended? Name some.

I have attended numerous Libertarian Party conventions, events, and meetings, and there are in fact records and numerous witnesses, and even video evidence to back this up.

Show me some proof that you are who you say you are.

This site, as well as Ballot Access News, and some others, have for a long time had troll problems.

  31. Ed Johnson

“That 80 plus year old man could be just a fake character somebody is playing.”

Whatever. I sound nothing like him. You are inventing things that make no sense in addition to being irrelevant just to distract from the fact that I just eviscerated your whole line of bullshit.

“So says the person nobody knows. How many minor party conventions, events, or meetings have you attended? Name some.”

Who said I ever attended any? It doesn’t mean I have any more or less right to have an opinion if I have time and money to run around to events.

“I have attended numerous Libertarian Party conventions, events, and meetings, and there are in fact records and numerous witnesses, and even video evidence to back this up.”

You haven’t shown any of this alleged evidence, but luckily for you I showed why none of it would matter even if you did. If it did matter you evidence still consists of “because I said so” and nothing else.

“Show me some proof that you are who you say you are.”

Show me some proof that you need to know or what entitles you to ask. Am I being detained?

“This site, as well as Ballot Access News, and some others, have for a long time had troll problems.”

And as you have already admitted, some of it is under people’s real names, so that if I did “prove who I am” it would not prove anything about whether I am a troll/plant/government agent or not. Likewise, if you did prove that the claims you are making about yourself are true – which you have not done at all – it would not prove anything about whether you are a troll/plant/government agent or not.

Some reasons to suspect that you might be a troll/plant/government agent:

    1) You are always accusing other people of that. When you point a finger, 4 fingers point back.

    2) You want everyone’s personal information. That’s something else government agents do all the time.

    3) If it’s true that you attend all these events, it puts you in a good position to gather information on people who are interested in non-mainstream politics.

    4) Your belligerent demands for people’s personal information which could then be weaponized against them by malicious people who might be hanging around here work to keep people away and to keep the “scene” small – something government agents might want as well.

I’m not saying you are a troll/plant/government agent. You might just be a narcissist who wants to be a big fish in a small pond. But you do set off some red flags for a snoop or spy of some sort.

  32. Ed Johnson

So, now agent “Andy” think I sound like yet another person. I guess he just makes things up to distract from the fact that I called bullshit on his whole act and pointed out why none of it makes sense or adds up. It’s pretty comical at this point. Keep it up, agent “Andy.” Who will I sound like next? Tune in a few minutes or hours for now for another riveting episode of “As agent Andy turns.”

  33. Jared

These sock puppet accusations have gotten out of hand. I don’t really care who is who and under what name. Paulie hasn’t posted here in months, but y’all must really want him back in one form or another.

  34. Robert Milnes

    Jared,
paulie has not posted here in his name in months.
There was various reports about where he is, went etc.
He WAS quite the important person here.
    Still is.
What if William Saturn is paulie? A portal for any Zionist supporter?
Traditionalist, etc,.and a whole bunch of names at BAN.
There was, and is, all kinds of spying, garbage and gaslight etc.
And what if paulie had foreknowledge of what became the attack on the Pulse Club?
What was to be an attack on the LGBTQ caucus at Orlando? Aborted. Then rescheduled to The Pulse Club? Same guy (Omar Mateen)
paulie mentioned that he was seated near an Exit at the Convention. Why?
This stuff has been going on FOR YEARS.
I and Andy outed him at BAN.
Then we were “allowed” back at IPR.
    Coincidence?
So Jared, whoever YOU are, this is the situation at IPR.

  35. Andy

Jared, Paul had claimed to have quit politics, but then got caught posting on Ballot Access News under fake names. He got caught here doing it by Jill Pyeatt and Jeremy “Jed Ziggler” Siple years ago, and also by me, while we were both at the same motel in Arkansas. I also had caught him posting as “Humongous Fungus” on Ballot Access News several years prior to this. It would not surprise me at all if he comes back here and posts under fake names sometimes.

  36. Robert Milnes

Here we go. The stars align again.
USA/Israel (ZOG), Trump Abraham Accords, Herzog, UAE (& Bahrain) Saudi Arabia etc.
    9/11= ZOG & Saudi Arabia.
    v. Russia/Iran (Russia’s ZOG?), The Sinai Proposal, Abbas-Gantz, PA etc.
The move here would be for the USA military to overthrow The ZOG.
And in Russia, the military overthrow Putin.
Then there is the fork in the road from endless wars to eventual real peace in the world.

  37. Jared

Since this is an open thread, what do the libertarians here at IPR think of the postlibertarian movement or moment?

I’m thinking primarily of Matt “Kingpilled” Erickson, Pete Quinones, Andrew of “Popular Liberty,” as well as Tho Bishop, L.B. Muñiz, Vin Armani (now Cyril), and others. Within it I’d say there is a spectrum from a kind of spiritually traditional, culturally moderate or conservative Agorism to a more Machiavellian, ditch-the-NAP, non-rhetorical Hoppeanism. But what they seem to have in common is a sharp focus on immediate decentralism, on situating libertarianism (or postlibertarianism) within a counter-Enlightenment worldview that rejects the value presuppositions of secular liberal rationalism in favor of a more classically religious philosophical framework (grounded in Orthodox Eastern Christianity or Traditionalist Catholicism, decidedly not Evangelical or Mainline Protestantism), on small-scale radical transformations over large-scale incremental reforms, and on abandoning involvement in the LP—either rejecting political means altogether or seizing control of local GOP chapters—but either way viewing the third-party route as a losing long-term strategy and an impractical waste of the libertarian movement’s energies and resources: libertarianism has become a secular alternative religion, Christless Christianity, and the LP a secular alternative Church.

Apart from the more militant right-wing, Hoppean NRx cultural elements and assumed universal correctness of Austrian economics, which I really wish so many conservative-minded libertarians would quit fetishizing, I appreciate what the postlibertarians bring to the table.

  39. Robert Milnes

    paulie, (Jared, Traditionalist etc.)
How do you explain that you were sitting near an Exit at the Libertarian Convention in Orlando?
If the false flag operation was for Mateen, a known homophobe and ISIS supporter to spray up the convention, including Bob Milnes, while you duck out the nearby Exit, what about all your libertarian “friends” there?
Were you going to shoot me in the back first? THEN duck out?

  40. Robert Milnes

    IPR readers,
    I have explained this before.
I wanted VERY much to go to the Convention. But at the time I was short on bus fare there.
So I asked my sister in desperation because I did not anticipate a yes. But incredibly she came to my door, which she never did, and handed me cash, which she never did.
Eventually, seeing the futility of it, I decided at the last minute to not go.
My sister later said she was mad and said I conned her out of the cash! ($300)
Bottom Line: SOMEBODY wanted me to go to Orlando very much.

  41. Jared

    Bob,

I’m afraid Jared (paulie, Traditionalist, etc.) is not at liberty to discuss the Orlando convention and Operation Mincemeat. It failed, so please just drop it.

Oh, darn. I’ve said too much already.

  42. Ed Johnson

You guys are a hoot. Jared sounds actually sane. Maybe I shouldn’t say that, or the crazy people will say I am him. Oh well, who cares? I was going to say you all would say he is this Paul person you keep talking about, but then you beat me to it and did just that, so there it is. Within the space of one day, Andy went from saying I sound like Traditionalist (I have no idea why) who he says does not sound like Paul to saying I do sound like Paul. Why not just be honest and say he is pulling guesses out of his ass because he has nothing?

  43. Ed Johnson

    Robert Milnes,

Shame on you for conning your sister out of $300. She probably should have known better than to believe you would really go all the way to Orlando though. BTW, why haven’t you answered my question?

When the Pittsburgh synagogue shooter is found guilty and executed, will you dig up his grave, take his body to the Sinai, and sit around in the desert masturbating to t.v. newscasters while injecting covid vaccines every 15 minutes with his corpse propped up sitting by your side?

  44. Ed Johnson

Like I said at 10:50 “Whomever “Andy” claims I or anyone else sound like next won’t change these facts. Game, set, match.” Andy’s new guess since then doesn’t change the facts, and they are not on his side.

  45. Ed Johnson

“Operation Mincemeat. It failed, so please just drop it.”

Yes, but what about about operation Basmati Rice and Operation Spiced Chai?

  46. Jared

Ed: “Yes, but what about about operation Basmati Rice and Operation Spiced Chai?”

Last time I checked in, all was going according to plan. Reno will be a convention to remember.

Tony From Long Island aka Warren Redlich”

Whoah! This in an interesting and surprising accusation. Do you have any evidence to back this up?

  48. Ed Johnson

Tony, I checked out the utube links for you. Nathan’s first link was Glen Campbell “am I all alone or is it only me,” kind of funny and on point, but too slow tempo for me to make it past the first chorus. Jared’s first link from the family guy was really funny and on point and only a few seconds. I’m picturing Andy as the guy at the end, after he gets the milk down his pants. Robert Milnes could be that same guy a few decades later, after he’s been in and out of some prisons and mental hospitals and lived on the streets for a number of years.

Nathan’s second link, spider pig from the Simpson’s, was short and funny enough, but if it has any relevance to the previous discussion, I missed the connection. Jared’s second link was kind of like Nathan’s first in that it was funny for a few seconds but too monotonous to finish watching, and kind of like Nathan’s second link in that I missed the connection to anything else being talked about (but, he did say it was random). It looks like it was a parody of low IQ wannabe gangsta rap.

Andy: he has about as much evidence for it as your and Robert’s various accusations as to who might be who, which are all a stupid and pointless distraction from any actual conversation. That may have been his point, but I don’t know.

  49. Nathan Norman

“Whoah! This in an interesting and surprising accusation. Do you have any evidence to back this up?”

Warren Redlich is from Long Island.
Warren Redlich’s middle name is Anthony aka Tony.
And recall Roger Stone’s accusations about Redlich? Well, on a completely unrelated note, “Tony From Long Island” has previously defended releasing registered sex offenders into the public and has bogusly claimed sex offenders have the lowest recidivism rate. Tony says he was in prison but has never admitted what he was in prison for.

Interesting theory. Has Warren Redlich served time in jail or prison?

I think Warren Redlich lives in south Florida now. He moved there years ago, well before he sold IPR.

I always got along with Warren Redlich. He was always civil towards me. Paul claimed that it was Warren Redlich who banned me from the site, or at least banned the IP addresses I was posting form at that time, but I never heard this from Warren Redlich himself.

I got banned for pointing out the large scale hypocrisy of many Jews on immigration, as in a large percentage of them push for open borders and unlimited, unrestricted immigration into European and European based countries, but when it comes to Israel, they support it being a walled ethno-state with a DNA test backed Jews only immigration policy. This is a BLATANTLY HYPOCRITICAL DOUBLE STANDARD.

Paul is Jewish. Warren Redlich is Jewish, I suspect that the poster dL is Jewish. I suspect that there could have been others involved.

Since I never heard from Warren Redlich directly, I am not sure if he was the one who blocked me or not.

Note that I had endorsed Warren Redlich when he ran for Governor of New York, and that I never got into any arguments with him. Every communication I had with him was cordial.

He could have blocked me, but I don’t know this as a fact.

I could have continued posting here, just using different IP addresses, and I could have gone the fake name with IP anonymizer route, but I really had no desire to post here. So I was gone from this site for over 3 years.

The only reasons I came back was because William Saturn, and a few other people, asked me to come back, plus I heard that the site was under new ownership. Even though I did not post here for over 3 years, I did occasionally pop in to read the news, and I saw that Joseph Buchman had posted an article that I just HAD to respond to because I felt that the article had something in it that was a bit misleading (not his fault, he was just reposting something).

I do find it to be poetic justice that traffic and comments on this site went WAY downhill in my abscense, and since I have returned, things have picked up a bit here. So this shows that dL’s comment that I was driving away posters was bull, just like I said it was at the time he leveled these accusations at me before I was gone from the site.

Reportedly Herzog flew over Saudi airspace without incident. An Honor Guard reception.
Then there is another missile attack while he is in Abu Dhabi, reportedly by Iranian backed Houthis.

Cheslie Kryst, Miss USA 2019, dead at 30.
What happened to this lady that drove her to suicide in such a terrible way?
Reportedly she left a suicide note.

    What is this?
It seems to me that there is some sort of rising tide of anti-Zionism and anti Israel sentiment recently.
All around the world including USA and Israel itself.

  54. Traditionalist

    Good morning, gentlemen.

Contrary to comments above, I am not Mr. Johnson, and furthermore, would like to see his definition of “racist” or why he thinks I am one. It seems to me that this word is nowadays applied so widely that it has become altogether meaningless. It has, it seems, morphed into “woke slang” meaning something like “bad person” or perhaps caste “untouchable.”

As I also felt compelled to point out in last month’s open discussion, the myopic navel-gazing currently being exhibited in this discussion is a big part of the reason why your parties fail to get more traction. Unfortunately, it seems that the various third party supporters that I used to have interesting conversations with in years past have moved on, or at any rate are not participating in this forum, perhaps due to its boys club hostility to newcomers and those who value their privacy, or perhaps because they have suspected to the social disease known as social networks, or for some other reason. Whatever the reason might be, I don’t see them here, so I expect my participation will remain limited. You might think that is a good thing because you dislike my views, but there could be others who would rather discuss ideas than who’s who and other such trivial nonsense.

  55. Traditionalist

If I do participate here in the future, I think a “name” change may be due, if it is allowed here. I am thinking of something along the lines of “come back with a warrant” or “your papers.”

  56. Ed Johnson

I looked it up, and didn’t find anything that shows that Redlich’s middle name is Anthony. I found something from Milnes that said it’s Solomon. Where are you all finding his middle name?

Redlich was born on Long Island, but went to college out of state and law school in the Albany area, which was also where he practiced law before moving to Florida. He hasn’t been in prison. It’s very rare and difficult for anyone who has been in prison to be allowed to practice law. If he was one of these rare cases it would have been mentioned in his biography, political races, news articles, etc. Certainly, Stone would have honed in on it.

Agent “Andy” accepts this “evidence” without digging into it for even a few seconds, which just shows you that “Andy” is really bad at logic and research.

Andy: “Paul is Jewish. Warren Redlich is Jewish, I suspect that the poster dL is Jewish. I suspect that there could have been others involved.”

Mises was Jewish. Hayek at least thought he might be Jewish. M. Friedman was and D. Friedman is Jewish. Rand was Jewish. Rothbard was Jewish. Block? Jewish. Caplan? Yep. Huemer? Yes. Perhaps right-libertarianism is a Jewish conspiracy?

Hey, at least the LPMC’s own Dave Smith—oh, wait. Hoppe, though! Definitely not Jewish.

  58. Andy

“Ed Johnson said: “Agent “Andy” accepts this ;evidence; without digging into it for even a few seconds, which just shows you that “Andy” is really bad at logic and research.”

I said that it was an interesting theory, but I did NOT say that I accepted it as valid. I actually doubt that Tony From Long Island and Warren Redlich are the same person.

Jews did NOT invent libertarianism. Libertarianism was around long before the Jewish names you mentioned came around. Libertarianism comes out of Western Civilization.

The names you mentioned above all had influence on the libertarian movement, but not all of that influence was good. i think that some of the influence from Ayn Rand and Milton Friedman is actually negative.

Bryan Caplan, who came along a lot later, is definitely a net negative influence, as he is one of the primary people who pushes the open borders, unlimited, unrestricted immigration garbage, and the fact that he does NOT support this policy for Israel exposes him as a hypocrite. He also refused to debate Stafan Molyneux on the subject of how to properly apply the libertarian philosophy to borders and immigration policy. This showed intellectual cowardice from Caplan. Molyneux would have destroyed him had this debate taken place, and Caplan knows it, which is why he turned it down (Molyneux agreed to debate him for free). I am not saying that everything Caplan says and does is bad, but him being one of the biggest voices, and a hypocritical one at that since he does NOT support this policy for Israel, for open borders and unlimited, unrestricted, immigration, makes him a destructive influence.

I think that Ludwig von Mises and Murray Rothbard did a lot of good work. I also give Rothbard a lot of credit for in particular for his rejection of egalitarian nonsense, and open borders, unlimited, unrestricted immigration insanity.

I like Dave Smith a lot.

  60. Andy

“but not all of that influence was good. i think that some of the influence from Ayn Rand and Milton Friedman is actually negative.”

In all fairness to Ayn Rand, I don’t think that she supported Muslim immigration, and Milton Friedman at least recognized the problem of having immigration and a welfare state.

  61. Andy

I stumbled upon a great video on Odysee about the dangers of bringing in large numbers of foreign migrants from alien cultures, particularly ones who tend to have a higher birth rate than the existing population. This video does an excellent job of exposing just how idiotic, and destructive, the open borders, unlimited, unrestricted immigration stance really is.

Andy: “Jews did NOT invent libertarianism. Libertarianism was around long before the Jewish names you mentioned came around. Libertarianism comes out of Western Civilization.”

Oh, I see. And the Bible, written by Jews, has had what kind of impact on the development of Western civilization?

Libertarianism predates these 20th c. figures. Right-libertarianism does not, and paleolibertarianism absolutely does not. Prior to the emergence of the anti-New Deal Old Right with people like Frank Chodorov and Albert Jay Nock (both of whom were Georgists), libertarianism was a movement of the radical left to eradicate institutionalized, coercive privilege. Classical liberals stood against European monarchical and aristocratic conservatism, and Hayek wrote an essay titled Why I Am Not a Conservative. American individualist anarchists largely considered themselves free-market, anti-state socialists. They certainly weren’t reactionary defenders of “Western civilization” and border protectionists.

  63. Robert Milnes

    What is this?
It seems to me like there was some sort of Office to Office communication between Blinken and Abbas.
Perhaps the new proposal, a new initiative was formally relayed to Blinken. He replied with the same old gobbledygook, including undoing the Trump debacle of Jerusalem Embassy?Consulate.
This would be the least he could do.

  64. Ed Johnson

Andy, theory is not the same thing as something pulled put of someone’s hind quarters. A theory is a hypothesis which stands up to some level of rigorous testing. Even a hypothesis takes some level of evidence.

Also: please give more details and sources about the roots of libertarianism in western civilization. Where are you learning about what libertarianism was before the 20th century? These are not rhetorical questions, I actually want to know and maybe learn something new. It was btw ironically enough Rothbard, via the Mises Institute at that, where I first read about early libertarianism in Lao Tzu and Taoism. I think it was also where I first read about Sumerian Amagi also.

  65. Ed Johnson

Andy, why do you suspect dL is Jewish when he has denied it (I think it was on this blog’s comments , but not 100% sure) and why do you think it matters if he is or not? What led you to conclude that he is?

  66. Ed Johnson

Andy, there are reasons for not debating someone other than cowardice or being afraid to lose to them. Not wanting to give them credibility by sharing a stage with them comes to mind, particularly in the case of milyneux who had by that time gone openly racist/bigot.

He refused to call for open borders and unlimited, unrestricted immigration into Israel, but he supports it for everywhere else, or at least into the USA and any European, or European based country. He also freaked out on Robert Capozzi, comparing him to David Duke. He loves ANTIFA and Black Lives Matter.

Since you are a new poster here, “Ed Johnson”, how do you know any of this stuff. Do you spend lots of time here reading old posts?

This is a cop out. This is no different that when Democrats and Republicans refuse to debate Libertarian Party, or other alternative party or independent candidates.

  69. Ed Johnson

“He refused to call for open borders and unlimited, unrestricted immigration into Israel, but he supports it for everywhere else, or at least into the USA and any European, or European based country. Yeah, none of that means he is Jewish. It just means he wasn’t interested in taking your bait about Israel, and I don’t know who Robert Capozzi is or why he should or shouldn’t be compared to David Duke. There are white people who love antifa and BLM, or maybe he is black, or whatever he is, Asian, Puerto Rican, mixed? Who knows? Who cares? Why do you care so much, about who is or who is not a Jew?

“how do you know any of this stuff. Do you spend lots of time here reading old posts?”

I don’t. And I don’t know anything about any of the stuff you just told me, other than what you just told me. Literally the only other thing I knew about it was that I remember seeing dL say “nope” about being Jewish, and it was not a long time ago. I don’t remember exactly where. I think it was on this blog’s comments, but not 100% sure on that. Instead of asking stupid presumptive questions, “Andy,” why not tell us more about the history of pre-20th century libertarianism in Western Civilization? That would actually be interesting.

  70. Ed Johnson

“This is a cop out. This is no different that when Democrats and Republicans refuse to debate Libertarian Party, or other alternative party or independent candidates.”

It’s usually a bad idea to debate down. A lot of Libertarians refuse to debate candidates from much smaller parties. Sometimes they do debate them, but only because it’s the only kind of debate they can get into. You may think it’s a copout to refuse to engage in debates that provide a platform to bigotry and associate it with libertarianism, but a lot of people obviously do not agree with you.

  71. Ed Johnson

“Andy”: please give more details and sources about the roots of libertarianism in western civilization. Where are you learning about what libertarianism was before the 20th century? 72. Ed Johnson

    Jared,

Post-libertarianism sounds interesting, maybe. But I know absolutely nothing about it other than what you have told us here. What is a good place or some good places to start learning about what it is?

  73. Jared

    Ed,

Pete Quinones’s Free Man Beyond the Wall would be a good place to start for the Realpolitik dimension. For a broader “worldview” approach, I’d maybe suggest Matt Erickson’s Kingpilled podcast, and I know Marc Clair of Lions of Liberty has also done some candid interviews with Vin Armani.

Just search YouTube for the names I mentioned, and you’ll find content. You especially can’t miss Erickson because he looks like the Sumerian king Ashurbanipal.

  74. Ed Johnson

    Nathan at 19:46, valid question.

Jared, thanks, but I’m not big on podcasts or political YouTube. I prefer to read, especially while on long, boring, useless conference calls at work that usually have very little or nothing to do with my actual job, but which my employer nevertheless requires me to be on to receive my paycheck. Reading is also better for helping me get back to sleep when I wake up in the middle of the night, like right now. Sound and video tend to rile me up so I stay awake longer, making those conference calls even more akin to medieval torture the next day.

  75. Robert Milnes

Fortunately I have not noticed much in the way of anti-vaxx, anti-maask, anti vaxx mandate nonsense recently in IPR comments.
The government recently asked Pfizer to expedite application for emergency use of its vaccine for ages 6 months to five years.
IMO there should be an accompanying more aggressive campaign to get more pregnant women vaccinated.
The reason being that immunization is transferred to the newborn, complementing infant/child vaccination.

  76. Ed Johnson

So do you get paid by Pfizer, Jerusalem Post, or both? Or are you just a sucker who’s peddling their ads for no pay?

  77. Robert Milnes

    Your comments reveal your identity.
By their fruits Ye shall know them.
    Matthew 7: 16-23.
The Pfizer et al vaccines work, no matter who makes them.
E=MC2 is correct, no matter who discovered it.

  78. Ed Johnson

Well the bible quote is appropriate, although I think it’s more applicable to you and your spamming of commercial ads in comments. It doesn’t matter whether you are actually getting paid, because you are acting like a paid spokesman. It it was my forum, I would charge you for the advertising, and let it be your business whether or how to recover the money from the profitable corporations you are representing, whether you’re already been paid or not.

As for my identity, that’s wishful thinking on your part, just like the imagined safety and efficacy of the dangerous and ineffective vaccines. Following the science doesn’t mean following dogma, which is the opposite of the scientific method. Actually following science means constantly questioning what you think you know and engaging the logic of opposing theories and arguments. You show zero evidence of following science, so it’s pointless to discuss it with you. Your method seems to be more like a mix of street corner evangelist and pr flak.

For other people, who might actually follow and read a link, here’s one that at least presents both establishment and counterweight perspectives from different scientific vaccine experts, from an establishment news source:

    https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10466285/amp/The-truth-Joe-Rohans-controversial-guests-Dr-Malone-Dr-McCullough.html

  79. Robert Milnes

    This should be very interesting.
Either Gantz is a Trump Zionist Israel lackey schlepping for The Abraham Accords or he is involved in The Sinai Proposal/New Initiative.

  80. Ed Johnson

“I’ll stick with Neil Young and Joni Mitchell, thank you.”

Of course, because their scientific credentials are much more impressive than Dr. Malone, the father of mRNA vaccines, or Dr. McCullough, a board certified licensed practicing cardiologist who has published over 700 peer reviewed research papers and practiced medicine for 30 years? Robert Malone is a physician and biochemist. His early work focused on mRNA technology, of which he was a pioneer, pharmaceuticals, and drug repurposing research.

McCullough was vice chief of internal medicine at Baylor University Medical Center. McCullough was a cardiovascular fellow at William Beaumont Hospital in the Detroit metropolitan area until 1997. He then worked successively at the Henry Ford Heart and Vascular Institute in Detroit until 2000, served as section chief of cardiology of the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, and returned to William Beaumont Hospital where he worked from 2002 to 2010. He spent the next four years as chief academic and scientific officer of the St. John Providence Health System, Detroit, before joining the Baylor University Medical Center in 2014. McCullough is a founder and current president of the Cardio Renal Society of America and co-editor-in-chief of the society’s journal, Cardiorenal Medicine and editor of the journal Reviews in Cardiovascular Medicine.

But what’s a few decades of medical expertise or a few thousand years of scientific method compared to the opinions of geriatric musicians on medicine and science, topics in which they, much like you, are obviously much more well versed than these doctors and biochemical researchers. Of course, it took you much less time to jerk your knee and say you follow the senile singers than it would take to even read the introductory article, much less do any research of your own into opposing perspectives. Instead of follow the science, maybe your slogan should be follow the pied pipers, or let the singing sirens steer your course, or perhaps – go ahead and eat that lotus.

BTW, instead of spamming what must be every single article that’s being published in your home town newspaper, wouldn’t it be easier to just put a general link to jpost.com in each of your comments, or maybe change your screen name and link to jpost.com?

  81. Ed Johnson

I understand that Robert Jpost Milnes is overfilled with pride about his hometown newspaper and possible employer, but does anyone else here besides him find his constant posting of links to their stories to be helpful and interesting?

  82. Robert Milnes

The three most important things in third party politics 2022-far and away-are Top Six/Level the Playing Field>PLAS and Getting Zionist Israel and USA-The ZOG-off our backs ( e.g. Amnesty Report/Sinai) and the Robert Bowers case.
They are actually more or less the same thing.
Without a breakthrough in one or more of these things, third party politics is going NOWHERE.
The names, places, dates may change, but NOTHING substantial.
We are actually lucky to have these possibilities. e.g. Bowers could have been shot dead. No trial, kind of like Lee Harvey Oswald. Amnesty International took years, decades for this report. Who knows if anything will be allowed to come of it.
And you are lucky to have me, as long as I last. I have beat the odds so far, but I am getting old.
If nobody wants to hear it, too bad.

  83. Robert Milnes

Very good point, Nathan, Ed, Trad, paulie.
Yes, if my ex-girlfriend’s grave, or my father’s or Zeese’s etc. were dug up/exhumed and their earthly remains were not found in there, that could put a dent in the powers that be.
The only one I can guarantee is that of my ex-girlfriend Nancy McCusker Benson, PhD of Boulder, Colorado.
The tv surveillance thing I found out by accident.
It started with Deborah Knapp and got me in trouble with the feds. It took some balls for me to try it again about 10 years ago. That is when to my utter amazement I figured out that ALL the tv news and reporters are aware of the possible use of tv surveillance. It must be in their contracts to not disclose it due to national security.
If this were found out it might put a dent in the powers that be.

  84. Robert Milnes

    Ask the FBI.
I started with noting her on air Freudian slips and sending her my interpretations. I used vhs tapes. About 1982-March 1985. That is when they arrested me at the tv station.
Did 2/3 of a nickel; released from FCI Raybrook in 1989.
This stuff is in William Saturn’s blog.
Then about 2010 I tried other tactics. I concentrated on certain women. But I soon found out MANY tv anchors and their guests(reporters) were responding. Like the panel on Meet the Press. In other words, fellow professionals, not man in the street interviews for example. It must be in their contracts. And tv staff, like producers, editors etc.
I think many women are making an issue of it. I think I have a following of sorts. An unofficial fan club. But they can’t talk about it publicly.
What if this stuff is military?
These anchors travel around the USA, like soldiers. That would explain why Tom Knapp bailed on me. Also my father I suspect was spying on me. But the only way he would do that is if somebody convinced him. That it was for my good. And national security.
TV surveillance must be Top Secret military/DHS.

  85. Ed Johnson

Hold on just a cotton picking minute! Are you telling me that Robert jpost Milnes’ father watches him masturbate too? Do jpost sr and jpost Jr live together? Maybe jpost Jr lives with his parents in between stays at prisons and mental hospitals? Since jpost Jr was in prison in the 1980s he must be in his…50s or 60s at least? How old are his parents…80s? 90s? Why would they watch him masturbate? How long has this been going on?

Wait, I just had a crazy idea…what if the traditionalist is Milnes father, jpost Sr?? Ok, I know. But I was just trying to talk about what everyone actually talks about here and use the same sort of logic y’all use.

  86. Nathan Norman

His father is in Israel. The Israelis kidnapped him and held a fake funeral with a mannequin in the casket. He was only in his 90’s with dementia so of course he isn’t really dead.

  87. Robert Milnes

    LOL!
    You guys crack me up.
    Always did. The Three Stooges.
    Nathan, Ed, Trad,
Then came Shemp. Must be paulie.
So that makes The Four Stooges.
Or is it just one Stooge?
    The All in One Stooge.
The All For One, One For All Stooge.
    The Lone Stooge!

  88. Robert Milnes

    What is this?
It seems to me this is some kind of Hail Mary Pass.
Israel is done. Cooked. Stick a fork in it.
The Amnesty International document has dealt it a death blow.
    Thank God.

  89. Robert Milnes

    What is this?
It looks to me like Biden is relying on the Confederation proposal to the U.N. for legitimacy.
It was the UN resolutions that created apartheid Israel in the first place. Thanks to the Amnesty document, Israel is being more widely understood to be an apartheid state populated by international terrorists.
Soon Israel will be a pariah state. A LOT more than it already is.
Good luck fooling the UN again, Zionist international terrorists.
How can the President of the UNITED STATES visit a pariah, apartheid, terrorist state?
Do IPR readers understand the importance of this to third party/independents?
How about you, Tom? Do you get it?

  90. Robert Milnes

    I have done further research.
    The Biden Cabinet. Very revealing.
Of the 24 members plus vp., 5 are jewish. This is to the best of my knowledge. There may be other connection to jews e.g. spouse.
In order of succession to the presidency, out of the top 4, three are jewish.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of the Treasury Dr. Janet Yellin, Attorney General Merrick Garland.
At the bottom of the list of Presidential succession, but nevertheless very important, are Presidential Science Advisor and Director of the Officer of Science and Technology Policy Dr. Eric Lander. Chief of Staff Ron Klain.

  91. Robert Milnes

I did the math as I did with a possible Robert Bowers jury.
Biden’s Cabinet is about 20% jewish. The jewish population in America is about 2%.
Therefore the Biden Cabinet is about tenfold overrepresented.
In a potential Bowers jury there should not be a single jew. There are 12 jurors which is about 8%. Again the jewish population in America is about 2%. Therefore the jewish representation should be about 1/4 of a juror. Even if rounded off to the nearest whole juror, 1/4 is not half or more of one juror.

  92. George Phillies

One of the Massachusetts factions held a state convention today. In the end there were 45 people visible on the Zoom including three dozen participants, three witness, and some others.

They discussed whether to have a live meeting later or elect a new State Committee here and now. They agreed to have a live meeting in two weeks.

Move: To schedule a meeting for Saturday, February 26th 2022 at 2:00 PM at The Electric Haze in Worcester. Amended to 10AM.

They discussed what to do next, whether or not to elect a new or interim state committee. They will elect their new state committee at the next session of the convention, a live meeting, in two weeks.
They agreed to elect Jason Brand as the Chairman pro tem if needed to rearrange the meeting time and place, and also to try to notify people. Meeting then adjourned.

  93. Robert Milnes

So, what we need, because third party people are so messed up, is for the military to take over and arrange for fair and representative elections. Nearly simultaneous the Russian military to take over and hand Putin over to The Hague.
    Then join NATO.
Well a guy can wish, can’t he?

  94. Robert Milnes

    What is this?
As described recently, this Confederation Plan surfaced right after the Amnesty International report came out. To be presented to the U.N.
Clearly the word “confederation” is being used to cancel out the word “apartheid”.

  95. Robert Milnes

” His father is in Israel. The Israelis kidnapped him and held a fake funeral with a mannequin in the casket. He was only in his 90’s with dementia so of course he isn’t really dead.”
    Maybe.
As far as I am concerned my father “died” under unreliable circumstances. Objectively he was in a safe secure VA in Philadelphia. Reasonable care, medical, food, facilities etc.
The reality was that he was in involuntary custody, drugged, with my sister as POA and my brother in law; I had no say and was actually not in favor of what was happening to him. The ZOG is in control. Therefore anything that happens in the USA is unreliable. He had a jewish doctor in charge of his care. His son a known longtime leftist progressive activist.
Maybe he died. Maybe he “died”. I do not know. Maybe he is in Israel. I do not know.
But I am certain Nancy Benson, PhD is not dead. I do not know what is in her grave in Boulder, Colorado. Or where she is. The best way to find out is to exhume it.
I cannot do much of anything by myself because I am possibly subject to covert operations.
However I would be glad to join with others to find out what is really going on.
Let’s exhume her and/or my father in the presence of myself and reliable witnesses and press.

  96. Robert Milnes

    What is this?
Pelosi, longtime reactionary supporter of apartheid, theocratic, counterrevolutionary terrorist state of Israel. Billions of US taxpayer dollars.

  97. Ed Johnson

What is this? More advertising for the jpost? Oh well, if the owner doesn’t want to charge you for ads, that’s his business. I’d charge for the ads if I was him. Luckily for you I’m not.

  98. Robert Milnes

    What is this?
Yes, the USA has lots of splainin to do.
Starting with the duping of the UN by US supported Zionists into partitioning Palestine into a jewish apartheid theocratic state.
And just plain regular what is left Palestine.
Which decision the Palestinian people had no say.
To fast forward to the Trump fascisto-administration moving the embassy to Jerusalem.
And withdrawing the USA from UNHRC and UNESCO because of Zionist Israel.
Now the Biden administration wants back in. But with conditions.
    No, Joe. No conditions.
Just get the apartheid Zionist Israel off our backs! ASAP!

  99. Robert Milnes

    What is this?
    Ok. My bad.
I thought the Abbas- Gantz meeting, since it was so extraordinary, was an indication that Israel was unilaterally going to withdraw to a peace posture, perhaps The Sinai Proposal.
But no. It was to inform Abbas about the Munich Group proposal for a “confederation”.
As I previously wrote, that seems like the word confederation is being used to mitigate the more inflammatory word “apartheid”.
I personally find the confederation concept dubious, at best.
However it remains to be seen whether the Palestinians might at least consider it.
I wonder if Israel can sell it to Israelis let alone Palestinians.
I certainly do not recommend it.
I stand by my The Sinai Proposal.

  100. Robert Milnes

    OOPS! Sorry. My bad.
    I forgot the last word.
Can Israel Swap Palestinian State for Palestinian Entity? -Analysis.
    What is this?
Of course the answer is “NO!”.
    Stupid. Shut up.
So, turns out, Gantz is merely engaging in semantics?
    You got me Benny!
No, it is the Israelis that are wrong, not the Palestinians.
The Israelis just have more power than the Palestinians, that’s all.
What being zealously supported by the reactionary USA government like they are.
The Israelis should leave, to Sinai, not the Palestinians-to diaspora or nearby refugee camps for…in perpetuity?
The Israelis should have a police force only, not a standing army.(and certainly nothing nuclear)
So leave the military stuff, given to you by America by the billions of dollars worth.
    Take the police stuff.
Police yourselves, in Sinai. The world will leave you alone, if you leave the world alone and not terrorize it.
You can have all the Palestinian and Egyptian border guards and UN Peacekeepers you feel you need for your security.
But actually protection for the world from your terrorism.

    What is this?
The idea that Israel is apartheid is nothing new. It should have been known at its inception; before even.
A theocratic, apartheid state authorized by the United Nations.
But I guess it seemed acceptable in the aftermath of WW2.
But now it is getting traction. The concept of “Holy Land Confederation” is evidently Israel’s counter.
But counter to what? No Israel. The one state solution.
Palestine would be fine as a secular state. With a jewish minority. A moslem presence; perhaps majority.
    A christian minority.
    Israel is the problem.

I guess I didn’t realize how much I’d grown accustomed to our paperboys, Robert Milnes and Fat Yung Ho, delivering the Jerusalem Post and People’s Daily to these comments every day until a couple of daily deliveries went missing. I was about to call the two newspapers to complain about the missing deliveries when lo and behold, they started showing up again. I now once again feel culturally enriched. Sure, I don’t actually read them, and they don’t even serve to line a bird cage, but there’s something reassuring about seeing them on the doorstep every morning when I take the dogs for a walk.

    Libertarian Party of California Convention

The Mises Caucus march to take over and dominate American politics continues as they have taken over another state party, the Libertarian Party of California (LPC).

The Mises Caucus now has a majority of positions in the Executive Committee. The LPC Secretary running for reelection was defeated by a Mises Caucus member. Elections for Northern Area Coordinator and Central Area Coordinator were won by Mises Caucus members.

Elections were held for four positions in the Judicial Committee. The Mises Caucus won a majority of those elections. The election for Judicial Committee Alternate was won by a Mises Caucus member.

The California platform had existed since the early 1970’s. Mises Caucus members made a proposal to abolish the platform. Despite an effort by some of the delegates in the minority, the proposal was adopted and the California platform is no more.

The victory though impressive at it is was not total. Currently to be a delegate to a LPC convention one must be a member in good standing for at least 90 days. The 90 days requirement was put in the California bylaws many years ago to prevent a takeover of the LPC by another political party or organization.

In the early 1900’s the Democratic Party took over the Populist Party after the Populist Party endorsed the Democratic Party candidate for president. The Reform Party was taken over by other organizations and over the years lost 50 state ballot access. The Constitution Party affiliate in California was taken over by another political organization and the Constitution Party lost ballot access in California.

And currently there are rumors the Common Sense Party might attempt to get ballot access in California by taking over the LPC.

Mises Caucus members attempted to reduce the number of days needed to be a member in order to be a delegate to 30 days which would have made it easier for another political party or organization to take over the LPC. Their attempt failed.

The Mises Caucus is not the enemy, they are the competition. Their victory and take over other state Libertarian parties including now California show they mean business and they will do what ever it takes to win and will not stop until every state party is in their win column.

As much as the MiCauc leadership admires him, Gary North was not even close to being a “libertarian” in his legal philosophy. He was a hardcore theonomist and Calvinist reconstructionist. The man self-identified as a theocrat. It takes more than a theoretical commitment to methodological individualism in economics and finding instrumental value in radical decentralization to make one a libertarian. For the libertarian, maximal equal liberty is the telos of politics.
