The Natural Law Party of the United States voted on Sunday to endorse the presidential ticket of Dr. Cornel West and Dr. Melina Abdullah. The party also called on the West campaign to establish a national Justice For All Party organization following the election.
According to information shared with Independent Political Report by the Natural Law Party of the United States, the party met virtually to host its national convention. As part of its convention, it voted to formally endorse the West campaign for the 2024 presidential election. It also reportedly adopted a resolution for the future that would see those groups affiliated with the Natural Law Party of the United States formally partner with West’s Justice For All Parties and adopt the Justice For All name.
It’s worth noting for clarity that the Natural Law Party of the United States is not associated with the Natural Law Party of Michigan, which already voted earlier this year to endorse the Robert F. Kennedy Jr. presidential campaign. According to FEC quarterly filings, the Natural Law Party of the United States is a national political committee headquartered in Florida, where it is also a recognized minor party. It also has an affiliate in Mississippi.
Furthermore, the resolution calls for the creation of a national Justice For All organization following the end of the election cycle. It also invites individual state chapters of the Justice For All Party, as well as the Progressive Party of Oregon and the Aurora Party of Alaska, which voted to endorse the West campaign earlier this year, to participate in the proposed national organization.
To facilitate this transition, the resolution states that the Natural Law Party of the United States chair is directed to form a committee after November, with the intent of bringing together representatives from those interested state parties to develop a common plan for the new national party’s constitution, bylaws, and legal structure.

By the way, using your old “vacuumous [sic] void whose opinion doesn’t matter” insult again was a mistake, especially in combination with the nuña business pun (it doesn’t work without virgulilla) and the misapplication of “gopnik”, because now I know exactly who you are on BAN, “joe Wendt”.
Impersonating Wendt might not have been the smartest idea either, since he seems rather litigious and I doubt he enjoys being on the receiving end of identity theft.
*I did not call you one
No. Calling someone a mercenary is a compliment. But make no mistake, I didn’t not call you one. The indefinite article makes a lot of difference. I said that trying to auction off ballot access – which should be illegal – to the highest bidder was very mercenary, as was increasing the price post contract – which in actual auction houses is illegal. Unless you are admitting that is what you did, I did not call you mercenary; and if you are, I certainly would never insult mercenaries or PMCs by comparing their honorable profession to your con-artistry and extortion.
Nuna:
1) calling some a mercenary is name calling. Calling you a coward is stating a fact.
2) I haven’t affirmed anything, because why would I answer a question from an anonymous vacuumous void whose opinion doesn’t matter.
3) how did I get back control, well…. NUNA- BUSINESS, lol
4) considering your lack of knowledge about the world, you should get your gopnik self back to school
What name calling? “Raja of the Global Country of World Peace”? I’m just asking whether you are one of the dupes who forked over a cool million bucks to Mahesh Varma’s organisation in return for “spiritual dominion” under “natural law” as “Raja” of the “Global Country of World Peace”…
A question, I will point, which you keep side-stepping, like every other. That would suggest an affirmative of which you are embarrassed, were it not for the doubt cast on your actual identity, resulting from the consistent use of “joseph Wendt” where previously “Joe Wendt” was used.
“Cornel West is change, and will rock this election. He represents a better future for America and the world.”
And Abdullah is his prophet.
“no better than the also rans in the “democratic” elections in Russia”
Oh please. There are many more legitimate candidates and parties running in Russian elections than in US elections. And Russian elections have far more integrity. You are embarrassing yourself. Again.
What auction? I haven’t been paid. From what I can tell, only Michigan and the Reform Party made a corrupt deal (don’t know if cash was exchanged, don’t care, none of my business).
I want to give Americans a reason to vote, a vote for change and a better life. That is what Dr West represents and it’s something the Kennedy cabal will not do. Cornel West is change, and will rock this election. He represents a better future for America and the world.
As for my dealings with Brana, it has taught me that dealing with a corrupt entity benefits no one and only allows the establishment to cling to power. The Kennedy cabal are liars, cheats, and part of a corrupt & rotting establishment, no better than the also rans in the “democratic” elections in Russia. The Kennedy cabal need to be defeated. The establishment needs to be defeated.
As for what I say about Brana, an internet search can provide all the information to verify what I say. You want to name call under a pseudonym, go right a head, that is a cowards right. I’m working to give voters a better option, and speaking under my name.
I don’t know, Joe, you tell me. What does make someone want to get into bed with Nick Brana? After all, you tried to get into bed with Brana and Rossi before you changed your opinion about them, and they about you. So presumably greed?
You previously said you were going to sue them for defamation, but unless you want to be counter-sued on the same grounds, I would be very careful what you say about them, regarding such serious accusations as “sexual harassment”.
From the Bulwark’s reporting on the matter, however accurate or inaccurate that may be, they do not appear to be the ones who were generally incompetent or who breached the contract. You were. Now that might be completely inaccurate, in which case you could try suing the Bulwark for defamation as well.
Nonetheless, the impression remains that, having somehow assumed control of Transcendental Meditation party – it’s still not clear to me how, are you one of the million dollar “Rajas of the Global Country of World Peace”, by any chance? – you then tried to auction off the party’s ballot line to the highest bidder. How very mercenary. But then you appear to have gotten cold feet and tried to renege on the deal unless you got paid even more. How very mercenary of you again.
By all means, provide your side of the story.
But that still leaves all my original questions unanswered.
How did you regain control of the national party from the Kennedy campaign? Were you in control of the national party at the time you announced a national convention?
Why was it not possible for the Michigan NLP, which has been active throughout, to reconstitute the national party, but it was for the long-dead Florida party?
How did you even gain control of the Florida party, and then the national party, in the first place?
If you didn’t like the terms of the contract with Kennedy’s campaign, why did you agree to them only to then try and back out?
Since Mahesh Varma’s death in 2008, the Michigan NLP has started co-nominating figures like Nader, Anderson, Soltysik, de la Fuente and Kennedy, and you also tried to sell Kennedy the Florida NLP nomination before selling out to West instead; does the Transcendental Meditation movement still have any control over the party, or is it just a cash cow that somehow wound up in your hands?
So many questions.
I’m cautiously skeptical that the diverse parties around West will coalesce after the election, just because there were three competing attempts to form a national party in that space in the last few years (the People’s Party and two seperate Progressive Parties) and none of them gained traction, or even seemed interested in communicating among themselves. On the other hand, the NLP’s national committee status and the fundraising priveleges that brings might be the incentive that makes the difference. Please exercise caution in any reorganization to preserve that legal continuity.
Why would the Kennedy campaign get into bed with Nick Brana, who reputation consists of sexual harassment, undermining volunteers, breech of contract, and general incompetence.
First Joe Wendt relinquished control of the national party to the Kennedy campaign, while retaining control of the Florida affiliate. After they fell out, he demanded they return control of the national party to him, which he says they did not. Then Wendt announced a “virtual nominating convention”, apparently of the national party, not just its Florida affiliate. And now this.
There are a lot of missing pieces in this story.
How did Wendt manage to regain control of the national party? Had he already done so at the time he announced the convention?
Why did the Florida party get to revive the national party in the first place, but the Michigan party did not?
Why would West be willing to get into bed with Wendt after what happened between Wendt and Kennedy?
And when did the party stop being a vehicle for the Transcendental Meditation movement? Or if it didn’t, what appeal do either Kennedy or West have to the Transcendental Meditation movement?
I mean, Nicole Shanahan holds some new age views on alternative medicine, and Melina Abdullah has made a career out of being a scam artist, but neither Kennedy nor West seem to be quite the Mahesh Varma types. Though I guess West is slightly more than Kennedy.
