Constitution Party to Meet in North Carolina for Fall National Committee Meeting and Issues Conference

Members of the Constitution Party and its national leadership will convene in Raleigh, North Carolina, this November for the party’s Fall National Committee Meeting and Issues Conference.

The two-day conference, hosted by the Constitution Party of North Carolina, will be held at the Hyatt House Brier Creek. The event is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM EDT on Friday, November 8, and conclude at 4:00 PM the following afternoon. While a formal agenda and schedule have not yet been publicly released, the meeting is expected to feature guest speakers, a dinner buffet, and a silent auction to support future party operations.

Further information on ticket prices and how to attend is available on the Constitution Party website. Independent Political Report will provide updates on the event schedule and list of speakers as they become available.

This year’s conference will also introduce the party’s new national leadership, including Chair Justin Magill, Vice Chair Glen Miller, Secretary Megan Schmitt, and Treasurer Donna Laclair, pending her appointment by the National Committee. Magill succeeds outgoing Chair Jim Clymer, who has served a combined 17 years in the position. Additionally, four regional co-chairs from the Southern, Midwestern, and Eastern States regions are expected to be in attendance.

Last year’s Fall National Committee Meeting and Issues Conference took place near St. Louis, Missouri, where party leadership and members discussed topics such as addressing cartels at the Southern border, the risks of the COVID-19 vaccine, and reports from the Election Crime Bureau Summit. The keynote speaker at that conference was retired Lt. General Michael Flynn.

Glen Miller went missing over the English Channel almost 80 years ago. It’s very nice of him to turn up again and become our vice chair. I hope his orchestra will play at the conference.
