The Liberal Party USA verified with Independent Political Report this week the chairs of its two newest state affiliates. The party confirmed that Daryl D’Angelo chairs its New Hampshire affiliate and Sid Daoud chairs its Montana affiliate. Additionally, the party alluded to the potential for more new affiliates in the near future.
On Monday, IPR first reported that the Liberal Party USA had expanded to twelve state affiliates following its recent national convention in Texas. The party accepted both the Montana Liberal Party and the New Hampshire Classic Liberal Party as official affiliates over the weekend. At the time, it was unclear who would lead the two organizations, as the Montana affiliate does not yet have a website, and the New Hampshire affiliate did not provide specific information online.
In a recent email, the Liberal Party USA confirmed that Daryl D’Angelo, who spoke on state organizing during the convention as a panelist, serves as chair of the New Hampshire Classic Liberal Party. D’Angelo was noted in the original article for an opinion piece she wrote earlier this year in local New Hampshire media, advocating for the state party before it became a recognized affiliate.
The party also verified that Sid Daoud, an elected city council member in Kalispell, Montana, is the chair of the Montana state affiliate. In addition to his local experience, Daoud ran for U.S. Senate in Montana earlier this year as the Libertarian candidate, placing third with 7,272 votes. Daoud was also praised by then-Republican candidate Donald Trump during a campaign rally in Bozeman. Before the event, Daoud was part of a group of Libertarians that met with Trump and GOP Senate challenger Tim Sheehy to discuss foreign policy and legislation related to the Defend the Guard Act.
The party also addressed a map created by supporters detailing areas where they are actively working to organize Liberal state parties, noting that while it has nothing to do with it, there are “a few more states in the pipeline.” The map currently indicates that nine other states are in the process of organizing such groups.

Woah hey, did I miss something? How recently did Daoud switch from Libertarian to Liberal Party? And how did he climb to the top so quickly?
Is there any video posted from the Convention anywhere? Such as a keynote address? Seems a missed opportunity for a little exposure if these folks aren’t putting any footage from it online.
