The Constitution Party National Committee voted over the weekend to recognize a new Indiana state affiliate, replacing a previous organization that fell dormant at the end of last year.
The National Committee met in Manchester, New Hampshire, from April 25 to 26 for its Spring National Committee Meeting. The committee addressed standing business, discussed organizing strategies for the new year, and participated in local tours organized by the Constitution Party of New Hampshire. Robert Brown of the John Birch Society delivered the keynote address.
During the business portion, the National Committee voted to formally recognize a new affiliate in Indiana. The affiliation was later announced on social media.
Details about the new group’s leadership and a website have not yet been released. The national party currently lists Father John Sasse as the state party contact. The affiliate is also under the national oversight of Paul Venable, who serves as the party’s Midwestern States Chairman.
The Constitution Party previously had an Indiana affiliate, but that organization has been largely inactive since late 2024. Its last public notice for an organizational meeting was issued in 2021, and its most recent social media activity dates to the end of last year.
Independent Political Report is unaware of when the previous group lost recognition or what connection, if any, the new party has with the earlier organization.

The ballot access requirements in Indiana are pretty difficult so I am skeptical that they will obtain ballot access.
