The Green Party is hosting its Annual National Meeting this weekend on the campus of the University of Illinois Chicago in what is the organization’s first in-person annual meeting since 2019, when members met in Salem, Massachusetts.
The event formally kicked off on Thursday, July 23, and will run through Sunday, July 26. The party said the event will feature 81 speakers and 62 sessions. While the meeting is underway, delegates to the Green National Committee are also voting on new national leadership for the coming year, with ballots set to close at the end of the weekend.
