Green announces run for Congress in FL-24

In Florida’s 24th congressional district, Nicholas Ruiz III, Ph.D, of  New Smyrna Beach has announced that he is running against Democratic Congresswoman Suzanne Kosmas on the Green Party ticket.

“There is a need in Florida, and America, for more choices at the election polls,” Ruiz said in a statement. “The political spectrum is so much more rich and varied, than one or two parties can adequately express, in terms of political ideas, and in responding to the needs of ordinary people. Most voters are unsatisfied with the current state of affairs wrought by their elected officials. We can truly only expect different policies, when voting for different candidates, from different political parties. That’s why I’m running as a Green party candidate.”
