@10, Right. There are several reasons Whitney is not in the debates & probably not get in. This is just one.
It still might not be too late to win though.
    PLAS.

People, you are always living a fool’s paradise.
The folly of living paycheck to paycheck-sudden rise of unemployment from @5% to @ 10%.
The folly of electing a black president-IF he gets assassinated- riots>race riots>race war>civil war>martial law.

    Third party/Independents,
    POLITICS AS USUAL=YOU LOSE.

The day after the elections in 2012 if there is no hope for an inclusive winning progressive movement, I will proceed to go to the Yukon. By then I will have prepared & packed & good to go.
I’ll leave the usa for you losers to get vanquished. & I’ll hope Canada doesn’t get involved.
The only other option I see is if Canada intervenes on the side of the progressives. I might could get talked into getting involved in that. If it intervenes against the progressives, I guess I’ll have to dig a deeper gold mine.

Carbondale, a former coal mining and transportation hub, is fondly remembered by many futurists as a short term haunt of American Internationalist, designer extraordinaire Bucky ‘Geodesic Dome’ Fuller.

Julie Fox might do the same for the Libertarian party.

  11. SPEAKING OF ILLINOIS:

Chinese authorities would not allow access to Liu on Friday, and it was not clear if he had been told about the award.

His wife, however, expressed joy at the news. Surrounded by police at their Beijing apartment, Liu Xia was not allowed out to meet reporters.

But she issued a statement through Freedom Now, a Washington-based rights group, saying she was grateful to the Nobel committee.

“It is a true honor for him and one for which I know he would say he is not worthy,” she said, thanking former Czech Republic President Vaclav Havel and two former Nobel Peace Prize winners – Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama and South African Archbishop Desmond M. Tutu – for nominating her husband.
