PSL criticizes Hurricane Ike response

On its website, the Party for Socialism and Liberation says the government relief effort following Hurricane Ike “is sorely inadequate, having left millions to fend for themselves for days after the storm. … It is in times of crisis, either natural or human-made, that the character of the capitalist government is starkly revealed and the true role of the state as a protector of private property is exposed.”
