Can I create a party named “vote for me or you’re stupid”? get on the ballot… see how many stupids there are hehe

That’s essentially what this guy did in Illinois and he did better than 9 other presidential candidates…

      John Joseph Polachek 1,236

I don’t really have an alternative.

I just look at the AP numbers or the AOL News numbers and add the WA difference.

This’ll get sorted out as each states finalizes numbers.

What would you recommend as a one-glance source for checking the latest stats without navigating each state’s SOS page separately?

    5. Mike Gillis November 16, 2008

If these are based on the AP numbers, then their WA numbers are about a week out of date.

Nader has 3,000 more votes than listed currently on AP. Barr has about 1,500 more than AP’s last WA update.

I wonder how many people voted for Jay just because they liked the name “Boston Tea Party.”

I’m going to guess very few. He was not listed as BTP in Tennessee, which leaves Colorado and Florida. I don’t think he did appreciably better as BTP in the states where the label was listed than in Tennessee. I don’t know how he’ll do in write-in votes – we’ll see.

How do you know about Lancaster County? That’s in the district where John Murphy ran. I know he received the endorsement of some Ron Paul supporters in the area (radio hosts, meetup organizers, etc.).

Chuck Baldwin will also have many write in votes as well.

As will Cynthia McKinney and Brian Moore, among others.

It will not be until early December that certified election results from all the Secretary of States around the country is totaled.

We’ll be reporting on that as we find out about it.

I believe the electoral college will cast their votes December 15th.

Ron Paul is going to have alot of write-ins coming in, I think. In Lancaster County, PA he recieved 450. Just Lancaster County.
