Libertarian (Vice) Presidential nomination 2016: Wiener is rising to the occasion again?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOZYoa_pod0

Three years ago today Aaron Starr reported on Dan Wiener’s plans to throw his hat in the ring for Vice, possibly as part of a Johnson/Wiener joint ticket. Unfortunately, those efforts fell flaccid, with a big 0 votes recorded at the 2012 Libertarian national convention. While we’ve only seen an outline of the emerging new Wiener plan to rise to the occasion one more time, perhaps as part of a Johnson/Wiener or Ventura/Wiener team effort, little dribbles of information continue to leak out from the closely guarded exploratory effort. We’ll update our readers if and when there is a full announcement. Starr is rumored to once again have a hand in efforts to pump Wiener up for the nomination, but refused to say anything at this time, other than that an announcement may be coming. A call to Wiener’s home was answered by a woman who did not give her name; when asked about a possible candidacy she responded “come again?” and quickly hung up. There’s also no word yet whether Wiener would consider swapping roles and being on the top half of the tandem.

We’ll post the full announcement if and when the possible campaign whips one off and shoots it to us.

Wieners get beaten every day, but a lot of times people don’t like to talk about it.

Wiener would be hard to beat!
