Greetings Members,

The 2016 Libertarian Party National Convention is almost upon us, and with that our Biennial General Conference Meeting has been scheduled. Join us on May 29th as we usher in new leadership and continue to build a bridge between the Libertarian Party and the LGBTQ+ community.

Meeting Details: Our meeting will be held 15 minutes after the close of business on Sunday, May 29th, at George Phillies’ suite. A flier will be distributed on the floor with the exact room number.

Bylaws Update: The most important order of business will be to approve new bylaws. Among the proposed changes is to disband our chartered chapters and add three new officer positions to our board of directors: Outreach, Policy Director, and Fundraising. Please review our Current Bylaws, our Current Bylaws With Changes Outlined, and our New Bylaws if Approved.

Officer Elections: We invite all members and newcomers to run for one of our officer positions, including Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, and Treasurer. We expect a number of current officers to not seek re-election. We would greatly appreciate your committed leadership!

    Google searches way up for Libertarian Party! Voters want a qualified candidate like Gary Johnson with workable ideas. We are the best choice for those who reject Trump.

    Jim certainly seems to have time on his hands. He’s beaten the dead horse topic completely over the last few days, and now is trying to recruit a new group of people to preach to. Sad.

    What is your position in regard to North Carolina law HB 2, and especially in light of Charlotte Ordinance 7056? Do you believe that it is the proper position of Libertarians to protect the rights of private property owners, including individuals, companies, and corporations?

    I believe that this discussion has included many pseudo-libertarian trolls, but I hope to hear your point of view.
