All Libertarian 2024 Presidential candidates are invited.
The Utah LP writes: The Utah Libertarian Party convention will be held April 14-15 in Layton, UT (just north of Salt Lake). At present, of those who have announced seeking the LP’s 2024 presidential nomination, Mike ter Maat has let us know of his intent to attend on the 14th. If you are a candidate who wants time on our program, please let me know, either by message here or by email to [email protected]. The same holds true if you wish to reach our candidates for any interest group.
Why come to Utah? Of the states with partisan voter registration, only Nebraska has a higher percentage of Libertarians. In 2020, despite no appearance in the state by Jo Jorgenson and only one brief appearance by Spike Cohen, Utah was one of the top four states in the percentage of votes which Jo received, along with Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
Friday afternoon is dedicated to education and state-specific legislation, followed by our annual Karl Bray Dinner, with Saturday given to party business and a Keynote.
