Reform Party Announces National Convention

Reform Party National Chair William Hensley has issued the call for a Reform party National Convention, to be held at the Capital Center Hilton in Baton Rouge on Saturday, July 15th 2023.  The convention theme is “Foundations for the Future”. He observes that “…the Reform Party platform was a patchwork quilt of ideas from different eras thrown together…” The proposed new platform is said to be built on the foundations of Ross Perot and the early Reform Party.

In addition, he proposes that the current, 2008 Bylaws have become inadequate.  He writes that “…With the help of longtime member and Treasurer David Collision and Vice Chair Shawn Storm, we are completing a comprehensive set of rules and structure for the party…”

Finally, there will be a change to a new branding.

The above is all planned for a two hour morning session.  There will then be an afternoon session open to the public, with presentations on five major issues.

No I am not a member of any party. And I didn’t write the MLK Jr article. It came from a defunct website that I recovered using the wayback machine.

Good question Rufus. Btw, are you a member of constitution party? I visited your website and it appears you really bash MlK and other civil rights leaders.

Is William Hensley related to past chair Nicholas Hensley?
