At www.constitutionpledge.com, Ralph Nader supporters have been busy organizing a mass donation day and pledging to donate money that will go toward a candidate who they trust will uphold the Constitution.  Their goal is to raise $80,000 for Nader on September 17th. The money bomb is being managed by Jon Kraus, a former Mike Gravel campaign staffer.
On the website, you can pledge to give money, view how much has been pledged so far, why they are asking you to pledge money, and what Ralph Nader proposes doing to restore the Constitution. Also, the website provides Nader supporters with a banner they can put on their websites.

AnthonyD,
In my experience, most of the R3VOLution does not believe 9/11 is an inside job, although most agree that an independent commission should be set up to investigate the matter.”
My experiences too, I’m a scientist, not a truther and am considered a part of that group.
Please have your say here whether or not OBS’s coverage of the cnventions and elections in general have been fair:
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/aboutus/feedback/2008/convention/2008/08/conv.html
and counteract the one poster as of now who sates this:
“ConcernedVoter : Dear PBS, You are doing a fine job.A third party candidate cannot win & would only cause the ‘good guy’ to lose.A vote for Barack Obama is a vote for change…not EXCHANGE…exchange Bush for McSame. Thank you.”
Thank you for your participation in getting NAder and other viable candidates equal election coverage including debate privileges.
AnthonyD,
In my experience, most of the R3VOLution does not believe 9/11 is an inside job, although most agree that an independent commission should be set up to investigate the matter.
Rather than organizing a “money bomb,” Nader should just make a couple thinly veiled references to 9/11 being an inside job. He’ll have the whole R3VOLution following him around panting like a pack of wild dogs.
I was at that rally outside of the debates, and attented the alternative debate. I remember seeing the Ron Paul supporters and thought it was interesting they were there. If I had known Chris Matthews was in front of us I would have held my “Give ’em hell, Gravel” sign a bit higher.
Oh, no. Gravel has been celebrated at LRC MANY times. Although he’s also been hit for reasons you can imagine. Lew Rockwell in particular, though, is very quick to praise anti-war, radical liberals.
See here: http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/022842.html
You should do a write-up on this, if you have time. After all, the title is “He tried for the Libertarian nomination.”
What do you mean Gravel was celebrated by the LRC? And what was the first time?
Good for Nader, for whom I voted in 2004 and will vote for again in 2008; and Gravel, who was recently celebrated by LRC (again). But… Neither of these guys are interested at all at following the Constitution when it’s inconvenient.
