The Libertarian Party has called on Congress to end the remaining stimulus spending, citing poll statistics that show that a plurality of Americans believe that the stimulus is too big and does not help the economy.
According to the article, “Thirty-six percent (36%) disagreed and 20 percent were not sure. Fifty-five percent (55%) want the tax cuts preserved, a position they share with the Libertarian Party. Thirty-nine percent (39%) say the increased spending will be good for the economy, but 44% say it will be bad.”

Poor context (or poor paragraphing), George. The two paras in question are:
There is no such thing as 111% percent of the vote.
Republicans and Democrats get out in excess of 100% of the vote on a fairly regular basis. If the old parties can do it, why should the challenger parties not be able to?
>There is no such thing as 111% percent of the vote.
