An Update for the Kansas 3rd Congressional District – House of Representatives
A historic moment has come about in the 3rd Congressional District of KS. Having met Friday with our Petition Drive Coordinator, Bob Schmidt, we have now surpassed our goal of 5,000 signatures on our Kansas Independent Nomination Petition. I would like to thank Bob and all of those who have canvassed tirelessly, helping us to meet this benchmark in the campaign. We will for the next 10 days be adding 300 signatures on average daily to the numbers to insure our place on the November ballot.
In addition, and even more importantly, I would like to thank the more than 5,000 Kansans that stepped up and placed their personal confidence in me and this campaign to change the face of Washington. I send out to each and every one my humble and sincere thanks.
When Adams, Jefferson, Madison, Franklin, and Hancock, to name a few of the original 56 signers signed the Declaration of Independence they took a stand. When they placed their names on that document for all to see, they pledged their fortunes and their lives so that we could live in a free society. More than 5,000 Kansans just did the same thing. Not to win our Freedom but to secure our Freedom for our children and our grandchildren. I am proud to have been part of this process and I am humbled by the out pouring of good will that has come with each signature.
It is important that I am well informed and armed with the information that will not only make me an effective candidate but will also make me an effective Congressman. Please provide me with your position on the issues that matter most to you and your clients. Review my qualifications. Support me for Congress. Your support will be appreciated.
With the Primaries coming to a close you will need to make a choice as to the future of the 3rd Congressional District. You can choose to go with politics as usual or you can be on board with the tidal wave of change.
