Amy Kremer: Tea Party to Back any Republican Nominee Even Mitt Romney

Tea Party Express chair Amy Kremer told Fox News that the Tea Party will back whoever receives the Republican nomination even if it is Mitt Romney. Of course, no one speaks for the whole Tea Party and several other Tea Party leaders objected.

The Tea Party will support whoever wins the GOP presidential nomination – – even if that person is former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney. That’s the affirmative word from Tea Party Express chair Amy Kremer…

Her confidence comes while some Tea Partiers, including some at FreedomWorks, a leading voice in the Tea Party movement, set their sights on stopping a Romney nomination.

Kremer also wants to put to rest the idea the Tea Party would support a third party candidate, insisting the Tea Party can work from within the democratic and republican parties.

“There is no way that we are going to support a third party candidate. It would split the vote and it would guarantee reelection for Obama, and we need to crush Obama we have to get him out of the White House,” says Kremer. (emphasis mine)

I sure don’t want Obama ! At this point Paul will get my vote, and i think i can understand why the tea party express plant, oh i mean chair made the comment she did. you see they had a rally april 18th they expected a crowd of 2000 they only drew 300 1/10 of what they did in 09. so we don’t have to be fortune teller to see the tea leaves. Now i understand why we have not heard enough of the candates

The TEA Party, I should say the TEA Party Express, might willingly vote for Romney, as ould many conservatives. Their strategy being that they’d want someone that liberals could vote for in the general election, after abandoning Obama. Give them Palin, and they’ll stick with Obama. The end result is, if you don’t back a candidate like Romney, Obama gets back in the saddle for a lame duck tour.

The Republican establishment have covered their bases by promoting Obamas white twin brother in Romney and by their pre-emptive, started years ago, attack upon 3rd parties, specifically the Constitution Party as a conservative alternative. After the Perot debacle the Republicans sent moles into the Reform Party to blow it up from inside. After their success in demolishing it they then decided that the Constitution Party was their next potential enemy and sent moles into it to, as with the Reform Party, destroy it from within. Those moles pretend to be conservatives but are in fact agents of enemies of both our nation and the conservative movement; specifically of the Anti-Defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Center. They are far worse than RINO’s for while they pretend to be conservative they are working spies for not only the RINO’s but far worse and more treasonous forces than even the RINO’s are. Mark Seidenberg, of comment #1 above, is such an agent/mole. Romney is their guy but they will have multiple bets on the table such as Huntsman and Gingrich. These rodents will be promoted while honorable candidates such as Sarah Palin, over whom they have far less ( but still some ) control, will be attacked and lied about mercilessly and without end. The Tea Party will show themselves to be total chumps if they support Romney, Huntsman, Gingrich or any candidate promoted by RINO’s, the ADL, or the SPLC and their agents as they are simply Obama in another form and will continue his policies with little or no change. Only the Constitution Party can be counted on to provide a candidate who will fight for the interests of the people and the nation instead of being a lackey/water boy, as is Romney, for the Plantation Masters of the nation

Richard, Newt Gingrich won’t get it; he has more liabilities and problems then Romney does; for one, he’s been married 3 times and cheated on his wife. Plus the gaffes that he has made in the past couple of months has lowered his chances from a snowball to an ice cube’s chance in Hell.

Giuliani is a little better, but is still farther to the Left then Romney is, which makes him more of a turn off to conservatives.

  8. NewFederalist June 6, 2011

You would choose NOT to vote rather than cast a protest vote? It seems to me that the establishment parties would not necessarily understand that you are unhappy with the poor choices just because you didn’t vote. If you came out to vote but made a choice other than Tweedle Dee or Tweedle Dum, I would think that would show them clearly your disaffection. Just my $.02.

Any question that the “TPM” has been co-opted by the puppet-masters? She is front-lady in early June ’11 pooh poohing a “third party” . HEY, A two party system would be better than what we have.

“The argument that the two parties should represent opposed ideals and policies, one, perhaps, of the Right and the other of the Left, is a foolish idea acceptable only to doctrinaire and academic thinkers. Instead, the two parties should be almost identical, so that the American people can throw the rascals out at any election without leading to any profound or extensive shifts in policy. Then it should be possible to replace it, every four years if necessary, by the other party, which will be none of these things but will still pursue, with new vigor, approximately the same basic policies.” – Carroll Quigley speaking of how the u.S. system has been controlled since the early twentieth century, -Bill Clinton said Quigley was his mentor during 1993 Inaugural Address)

Hope all of you understand they are at the same old game of retaining power through their over payed lackeys? June of ’11 is early for them to plant the seed in the masses minds of 2-Parties-Good, Third Party-BAD ! Never too early to squash the competition is their new motto I guess.

Sadly Gary Johnson and Ron Paul has as much hope of getting the RP nomination as 45 million people returning their food stamp cards and apologizing for being leeches and thieves on society and just overall sorry low class BUMS! Yeah, I still claim my FREE SPEECH, friend. I was rather annoyed (and closed my wallet for good) the last time around when I read Ron Paul was flying “first” class back to DC after one of the debates and Huckebee and Tancredo was hunkered down in coach on the same flight. Oh well, it was Libertarian money he was using, what the hay, let him be an aristocrat! So now Ron Paul starts another hopeless effort begging money from the libertarians to help himself and the RP and pay the RP ballot fees. Something just don’t seem right about it. Oh one time was interesting, but a 75 year old on an ego trip is rather annoying this time around. Oh well guess he needs to keep his family employed someway in these tough times (Jesse Benton married his granddaughter).

“300 million Americans have 2 choices for president? Can you imagine having 2 colors to pick for your car? Red or Blue. No silver, or black w/ chrome rims. No racing yellow or hunter green. Nope – 2 colors, red or blue. The 2 party system has failed us. Our corrupt corporate propaganda media has failed us. You cannot? give 300 million people 2 choices & expect change. They feign fighting on TV while they sleep together at night. We need a 3rd, 4th, 5th choice to fairly represent us” -shwantz2 on youtube

Ron Paul’s Money Bomb has started!

Dear JOHN, I’m in this race to win.

But I need to know something. Can I count on your help?

Other campaigns are already hitting high gear – or should I say they are hitting up the fat cats.

In fact, establishment candidate Mitt Romney raised 10 million dollars in one day a couple of weeks ago from well-heeled party bigwigs and Wall Street insiders, many of whom ponied up the legal maximum of $2,500 per person (or $5,000 per couple).

And I think now is the perfect time to send a powerful message that the freedom movement is stronger than ever!

So I’m writing to personally ask you to make your most generous donation at http://www.RonPaul2012.com on …………..

The Tea Party is one unified official group? I didn’t know that.

  13. Mike B. June 5, 2011

Tea Party = Conservative Front Group.

They all talk as though they were born-again economic libertarians.

Their true colors…chameleons in Republican statist clothing.

  14. Tom Blanton June 5, 2011

I’m confused. Do the tea partiers support really big small government or very small big government?

I’m astounded that any tea partier would support Romney since he is as much a Marxist as Obama. If they believe Obamacare is a Marxist program, then it would stand to reason that they would also classify Romneycare as a Marxist program.

  15. Richard Vanier June 5, 2011

The “Tea Party Express” is a tool of the GOP establishment to keep the real Tea Party on the reservation and vote Republican.

I wonder if The Tea Party Express would try to sabotage the campaigns of Ron Paul or Gary Johnson if they were close to winning the GOP nomination.

The GOP is going to nominate a big government spendaholic like Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrich or Rudy Guiliani. The GOP will ignore the issues put forth by the real Tea Party. And, The GOP will lose in 2012 unless they nominate someone like Gary Johnson or Ron Paul.

  16. Darryl W. Perry June 5, 2011

This woman speaks for the “TEA” parties, not the BTP, which is NOT affiliated with the “taxed enough already (except for when our guy does it)” groups

  17. Jill Pyeatt June 5, 2011

I agree with Andy @ 5: Mitt Romney is a joke. I can’t believe this no-personality predecessor to Obamacare is even taken seriously by Republicans.

  18. Cody Quirk June 5, 2011

Doesn’t surprise me; a lot of GOP stalwarts have done a good job positioning themselves as leaders of the tea party movement

  19. Kevin Knedler June 5, 2011

    No principles.

  20. Red Tea Party June 5, 2011

Stewart Alexander of the Socialist Party is the real Tea Party candidate.

  21. Andy June 5, 2011

This is yet another example of how worthless the Tea Party has become. Mitt Romney?!?!?!?! What a freakin’ joke.

  22. NewFederalist June 5, 2011

I guess it’s a good thing that no one actually speaks for the “Tea Party” since it really doesn’t exist except in the media.

  23. Mark Seidenberg June 5, 2011

    Looks like another RINO.

Sincerely, Mark Seidenberg, Vice Chairman, American Independent Party

I wonder if Fox set up this interview to deliberately try and counter the unexpected comments of Sarah Palin regarding a third party run.
