    So who won?

Yeah I admit that I’m not too trustworthy of Stufflebeam; I think he’s too sympathedic to some of the religious zealots in the CP. Frank is more practical, has more experience, and has been in the CP longer.

Cody–I think that’d be fine. But jumping from State Chairman in a state with no ballot access and few candidates (though I know the state is a tough nut to crack) to national chairman, without any steps inbetween, seems like too much trust on the CP’s part. Fluckiger has been Utah state chair, and done well, and he has been Western States Chairman, with success.

Randy is a good man, but I must admit the Frank has done much more then he has in terms of organization and manpower, however I think Randy could become the national vice chair if Frank becomes chair.

Central location isn’t a concern, really, for me.

Ability to raise money, attract media, and guide the party through tough times–as well as driving up membership numbers and attracting big names–this is what matters.

I definitely think Stufflebeam has energy and enthusiasm. In fact, that’s why I think Fluckiger is the better choice. He’s got all the needed energy, but I trust that he’d never fly off the handle. I’m not saying Stufflebeam would, I’m just more confident of that with Fluckiger.

Who is Audrey Miller-Quackeboerner and why should she be VP?

Randy Stufflebeam was responsible for organizing the 6-part presidential debates that just concluded last week, and is a very enthusiastic person – just what the CP needs right now. He certainly has a lot of ideas and energy. Also, he has already worked quite a bit with Audrey Miller-Quackeboerner who organized the Indiana party’s candidate vetting questionnaire and is running for party VP. They would be a good team. And more centrally located as well.

I’d have to go with Fluckiger. He’s achieved far more in terms of ballot access, fundraising, and electing candidates. One could conceivably credit that to his being regional chairman in a more friendly region, but I think it has to do with his organizational skills and drive. On top of that, I think the guy is more calm and composed.
