The Sun Sentinel reports on political operatives hired into positions with the Broward County (Fort Lauderdale) Sheriff.
Recently affiliated with Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson, and the 2010 and 2013 campaigns of Manhattan Madam Kristin Davis, Diane Thorne is now a paid employee of the sheriff. Also hired is Michael Colapietro.
The two new employees are often described as associates of Roger Stone, who helped the sheriff get elected.
