A January press release made it clear that her Plan for Texas Independence does not include secession but is designed to “withstand the unsustainable path that Washington DC is on and its inevitable collapse.”
Still, her plan appears to stop just short of secession. After a November trip to East Texas the Palestine Herald-Press reported, “Glass said she is willing to [cut] ties with the federal government” and “Glass predicted an imminent financial crisis and insisted that Texas should become financially independent of the federal government.”
Glass mentioned her Independence Plan in passing at the Houston Liberty Forum with Ben Swan in January but didn’t elaborate on it.
A Texas Tribune article from October quoted Glass as saying her campaign “would focus on the idea of nullification.”

I thought Thomas already left Texas. I read on facebook postings that Wright did drop out and his reasoning was lame and weak. He blamed people for the money issues.
I don’t use it as a litmus test, but when someone runs third party I expect them to comprehend the arena. Thusly, they should know they will use their own money. I have spent my own money on my runs.
Meanwhile in other TX LP gubernatorial news, Lee Wrights has undropped out, or denies he ever dropped out, or something. It’s all very confusing.
