Thanks to Arthur DiBianca for this news.

“small-government Republican”
Right up there with Sasquatch and the Loch Ness Monster.
“A Republican will lose? Keep sending us the good news.”
Amen! Fuck the GOP.
“And when the small-government Republican loses by 1-2% in November, we’ll know who to blame.”
A Republican will lose? Keep sending us the good news.
True.
Also…I think maybe some of those small government Republican (one single hanging by a thread) tooth fairies misunderstand our stance on ending the war on drugs.
Just because we believe that government isn’t the correct solution to the problem of drugs abuse it does not follow that these unicorned small government Republican easter bunnies should get loaded on large quantities of illegal substances and start getting persistent hallucinations and paranoid delusions, completely unsupported by any real world evidence, that Libertarians are to blame for their losses.
I always assumed that we Libertarians shared a belief in personal responsibility with the Republicans. So I’m sure this hypothetical “small-government Republican” would take responsibility for not being a better candidate rather than blame others for his/her failure.
Small government Republican? That’s right up there with jumbo shrimp, military intelligence, humane slaughter, true lies, etc.

Plenty of examples of this from all over the country in many years.
And when the small-government Republican loses by 1-2% in November, we’ll know who to blame.
Running that many candidates is in itself a win.
I hope the qualified ones win. It would be embarrassing to elect an incompetent who gives the party a bad name.
I hope some of them win!
Remarkable. Great job
I wish every county, parrish, borough and ward in the US had this many LP choices on the ballot.
Nicely done! That’s a lot of Libertarians on the ballot out there.
Congratulations and best wishes for campaign and electoral success!
This is great. I hope that you guys have many successes in Texas.

Please see my case at http://www.msakewitz.webs.com; I was a victim of civil asset forfeiture in which a cop initially threatened me $250/bunny and then when I fought the State over a six month battle, they FORCED a plea against my wishes then changed the law in their favor; the police and DA also violated a court of appeals Stay I had achieved via then Oregon’s Ballot Measure 3; you have my permission to reproduce this story
