Poll Shows Chris Daggett at 14% in New Jersey Gubernatorial Race
October 8th, 2009
On October 8, a poll taken by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research was released for the New Jersey gubernatorial race. It shows independent candidate Chris Daggett at his highest poll result so far, 14%. Jon Corzine, Democrat, leads with 41%; Chris Christie, Republican, has 38%; other or undecided 7%.

Hello,
Is this page only for the promotion of Zionism? Are the Goy visitors aware of the true motives of ‘Robert Milnes’ and most of the others posting?
I am glad to see the sheep are still drinking the kool aid. Remember a vote for who represents your political interests is NOT, never or shall be a wasted vote.
Besides, voting democrat or republican is basically 2 sides of the same coin.
Can we get some love for Daggett??
Here’s something with the potential to unify market-oriented greens and environment-minded libertarians: the Free Earth Manifesto.
The Greens and the Libertarians are to far apart in ideology to ever unify under the same banner.
Also I think the Modern Whig Party should endorse Daggett. He’s a moderate just like us. Since we do have a small number of New Jersey supporters, it should help him a bit.
Wow, great endorsement. I’ll post that, although I think you should be able to…
The New Jersey Star Ledger Endorsed Daggett today, writing in part:
“The newspaper’s decision is less a rejection of Gov. Jon Corzine and Republican Chris Christie than a repudiation of the parties they represent, both of which have forfeited any claim to the trust and confidence of the people of New Jersey. They share responsibility for the state’s current plight.
Only by breaking the hold of the Democratic and Republican mandarins on the governor’s office and putting a rein on their power will the state have any hope for the kind of change needed to halt its downward economic, political and ethical spiral.
New Jersey needs radical change in Trenton. Neither of the major parties is likely to provide it. Daggett’s election would send shock waves through New Jersey’s ossified political system and, we believe, provide a start in a new direction.
It would signal the entrenched leadership of both parties — and the interest groups they regularly represent — that an ill-served and angry electorate demands something better.”
I think Greens and Libertarians should unite in common causes. I endorse Bob Milnes’ idea of a fusion ticket.
Too many Libertarians have become enamored with uberrightwing economic policy and talking points, especially since the last election. I think Greens and Libertarians have more in common than Libertarians should have with reactionary Republicans.
If Libertarians want to embrace the Republican rightwing agenda of economic Darwinism the best place for them to do that is within the Republican Party.
Those Libertarians whose priority is personal and civil liberty, pacifism and open borders, then the Green Party becomes a viable alternative.
Is it a good idea or not? As we know Dems and Rep are the bigger parties with the most to lose. As it stands I believe parties divide the people including third parties. I think the better strategy for thirds and Ind. should be to unite. That is, remove the fault lines between us as we each have good ideas or ideas we agree with to certain degrees. Besides, once elected our main goal should be to work for the people. Unity can be achieved when we see a strong or only third or Ind. running we should vote as allies since our common vision is our Country….good idea or bad?
Any of the candidates in organizaaed crime, or is that redundant?
Ken Kaplan and the NJLP are a waste of time and space. Ever since the Murray Sabrin debacle the NJLP has become increasingly irrelevant in NJ politics. Bob Milnes has more credibility and vote-getting potential as an independent candidate than Ken Kaplan or any other nebbish the NJLP might put forward.
As to Daggett one poll has him at 17%. There is still one more debate, but Daggett has to raise more money to sustain his momentum. I have a suspicion that some Democrats may donate to Daggett in the belief that he is more likely to take votes away from Christie than Corzine.
It’s interesting that Murray Sabrin was polling at ten percent right before the 1997 election, but got less than five percent of the actual vote. My guess is that Daggett’s vote total will significantly exceed Sabrin’s.
I’m going to write-in Bob Milnes for Governor and maybe “Uncle Floyd” Vivino for Lieutenant-Governor. How does that sound?
Crazy Losers Club. I guess I’m in. With you. Hope you don’t mind my rants on IPR. & let me know if I snore, OK?
Note that Ron Paul(dinosaur fossil) & McKinney WON as dem or rep. But as third party candidates-LOSERS. Crazy losers.
& let’s not forget the lady lab rabbits who are just as cute & cuddly & loveable! Kimberly, McKinney, Susan, Sweet Mary, KK. lg, et al. Crazy losers!
I’m going to start to say “Crazy losers” instead of just losers. The pop definition of insanity-To keep trying the same thing & expect different results. So, Trent, paulie, Cody, Tom K., Ron Paul et al, join the Club. WITH ME! LOL! You bunch of crazy losers! Gotta love’em though! Cute little lab rats. But maybe more like lab rabbits. Cute & cuddly & loveable crazy losers! LOL!
As I have said previously, the Green Party NJ should endorse the Libertarian, Ken Kaplan, as part of the overall Progressive Libertarian Alliance Strategy. & they are quickly running out of time to do that. Another wasted opportunity. Losers.
They actually wrote a piece on that. They didn’t endorsed him because he was too moderate, but they encouraged Greens to vote for him because of his support on environmental issues.
Has the Green Party of NJ considered endorsing Daggett?
An FDU poll puts Daggett at 17% with Corzine and Christie in a statistical tie in the high 30% range, when Daggett is mentioned by name in the prompt.
