The Fall 2010 National and Executive Committee meetings of the Constitution Party will be held Friday, November 12th and Saturday, November 13th at the Sheraton Fort Worth Hotel, 1701 Commerce Street, Fort Worth, TX 76102.The Executive Committee will meet the morning of Friday, November 12th starting no earlier than 8:15am and ending no later than 1pm. Grab-and-go lunches will be available for under $10 per person. The National Committee meeting will start after lunch that same afternoon, Friday, November 12th, no earlier than 1pm. Registration will begin at 11:30am. There will be a banquet Friday evening.
The National Committee meeting will reconvene on Saturday morning, November 13th at 8:30am, lunch will be provided. The scheduled activities for the weekend will conclude by 5:30pm on Saturday.
The agenda has not been set, so starting and ending times are subject to minor changes.
Your reservation at the Sheraton Hotel includes a complimentary full Breakfast buffet for up to two people per guest room. Your meeting registration includes the banquet on Friday night and lunch on Saturday. A working lunch will be provided for the Executive Committee on Friday.
Registration is set at $185 for those whose registration is postmarked on or before October 12th , $200 for those whose registration is postmarked after October 12th and before November 6th, and $215 if postmarked after November 6th or paid at the door and meals cannot be guaranteed for these late registrations. Registration for students 12 and over is $105. Children under 12 are welcome to attend free of charge with no meals included, for $105 including meals. Registration for the Friday night banquet only is $50, and for Saturday only is $45 with lunch included.

Be sure to say that you are with the Constitution Party in order to get our special rate of $129 plus tax for singles and doubles. The cut-off date for this price is October 12th, 2010, so don’t wait! Make those reservations right away.
As you know, the National Committee, made up of qualified representatives of the state affiliates, is responsible for conducting the business of the party between conventions. It is vitally important to the future of the party that representatives from each state affiliate make every effort to be present at all National Committee meetings. If your state does not have a National Committee member or alternate present at the meeting, then your state has no voice on issues that are under consideration.
The best and most productive meetings are those where attendance is really high and members from all over the country are participating, meeting each other, and sharing ideas. If members and observers who are otherwise able to attend are having trouble with funding, please consider pooling resources and having those who can’t attend help cover the expenses of those who can.
And spread the word to all key leaders in your state! Meeting announcements are only mailed to National Committee members we have on file, State Chairmen, and State Contacts, so it is up to you to let others in your state know about the meeting and encourage them to attend.

Well, Lake can say what he wants about a “non-existent” AIP state convention…but Robinson and Seidenberg looked awfully forlorn standing outside the door of the sold-out, standing room only convention banquet featuring Chelene Nightingale.
Seidenberg and Robison looked rather ridiculous going from car to car in the hotel parking lot taking down license plate info of any car with a Nightingale bumper sticker or sign.
It was a great and successful weekend for the real, original and authentic American Independent Party and the Constitution Party as, I’m sure, the event in Ft. Worth will also be.
If you can donate any money to Nightingale to attend this event it would help she is broke and we cannot afford to foot the bill again. It pains me to ask for money for her but she won’t work and we must panhandle to help her…Bless you all

[Colorado] State Republican Party chairman Dick Wadhams said he delivered the offer to Republican nominee Dan Maes after Tancredo offered it as a compromise to give Republicans a chance to win back the governor’s office in November.
Tancredo bolted from the party last month to run as an American Constitution Party candidate.
“Tom Tancredo contacted me late Monday to indicate he would withdraw from the race for governor if Dan Maes did so as well,” Wadhams said. “I asked Tom for the opportunity to present this offer to Dan Maes, which I did do this morning.
I felt it was my responsibility as state chairman to inform Dan of this offer since it held open the possibility of eliminating the current three-way race that gives the Democratic candidate a huge advantage.”
