At the May 24-26th Libertarian Party of Florida state convention, Ray Netherwood announced he would be running for U.S. Congress in the 19th district in 2014. He is joining two other LPF congressional candidates in the running. In 2012, the LPF ran only one congressional candidate, Calen Fretts, in the 1st district. He received 11,176 votes, or 3.3%.

What update, the page has from what I have been told not been updated in many months.
It’s just another attempt by the establishment in the LPF to silence those they dislike. It’s a shame, and this is why I am skeptical.

I hope there will be a strong slate of candidates running for local and non-partisan races, too. IMHO, that’s where we will be able to make real gains in the next couple of election cycles.
This list is not complete or accurate. Several of the people on here haven’t actually filed to run for everything, and several who have filed to run aren’t listed above.
Here is the current list of candidates who have filed to run for state or federal office as Libertarians in Florida for the 2014 cycle, thus far.
If there is more than one candidate who qualifies for the ballot in a particular race, a primary will be held for registered Libertarians and the winner will be the party’s nominee.
