Chuck Baldwin campaign HQ

A press release I just received claims that Chuck Baldwin’s campaign will “officially launch” tomorrow in Michigan. The new headquarters will be located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Headquartered in Grand Rapids, at 5500 Division SE, the campaign officially begins on Tuesday, June 24th at 5:30 pm with a family-friendly catered dinner and activities for children. The event is free and open to the public.
Baldwin will address an earlier forum sponsored by the Family Rights Coalition of Michigan , June 23rd at 7:00 pm at Oakland County Commissioner’s Auditorium, 1200 N. Telegraph, Pontiac, in the Oakland County Complex . The topic will be: Health care Policy and Family Breakdown.
The Baldwin candidacy is garnering widespread support and is on course to offer voters a viable alternative in the November presidential contest.
“Voters all over the country have told me, they’re “afraid of Obama and don’t trust McCain””, noted Constitution Party presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin.

Two different sources have confirmed that the headquarters is located in Grand Rapids for two reasons. Grand Rapids is home to a very active base on Baldwin supporters in Michigan who are offering a lot of help. Secondly, a Ron Paul activist and Chuck Baldwin supporter, offered a massive space to the campaign for free.

I’m waiting for Baldwin to come out for free trade.

    Mike,

Im not sure why they called it the “Campaign launch”, as most of the staffers have already been working. For example, im the Youth Coordinator, and we’ve already got campus groups in 5 states.

Stick some Gatties bumper stickers around it. First make some bumper stickers.

I’m a bit closer than GE, around 80 miles or so. But, I have no desire to drop by and say hello.

I do like Grand Rapids though.

It also leads me to ask: Just what the hell have they been doing thus far?

Grand Rapids is a good area for the CP too. It is a very Christian area. My friend complains about it all the time! đŸ™‚

    RedPhillips,

Yes—someone gave them the space, for free. And its huge.

It might just be a state headquarters?

I am a big supporter of Chuck Baldwin, but I don’t understand the “officially launch” language this late in the game. Wasn’t the campaign officially launched the minute he won the nomination? It leads one to ask, “So what have they been doing since they won the nomination?” It seems to me that “official opening” of the Campaign Headquarters might be a better way to bill this.

Why MI? Did someone loan them the space there?

If by “awfully close” you mean 115.16 miles away, then yes, I am.

But I do have a friend I’m planning on visiting who lives in Jenison, a suburb of Grand Rapids, and I might stop by if the office intends to be open full time.

    GE,

You are awfully close to there, huh? You should go visit the event, give us a firsthand report. =)
    I know–you’re too busy.

    It might’ve BEEN Ron Paul’s brother,lol.

    Cool!

Grand Rapids is where Ron Paul’s brother lives. He’s a pastor. I sat next to a lady on the way to Denver whose daughter goes to that church, and she said Ron Paul’s brother looks exactly like Ron Paul.

    FYI.
