“There’s a referendum to overturn them as well.”

Correct Paulie, which is why we can still use the easier method on getting on the ballot.

BTW, John Mealer was involved with the Americans Elect party for some time and decided to come on board with us and bring his state party along too.

How is that possible? Americans Elect got on the ballot in Arizona, then abandoned their efforts, but the party remained ballot-qualified there & so people can run in the primary, despite its defunct status. Explain how that translates to being an IAP affiliate? Did the former state chairs give their consent to this? Were there ever any state chairs?

The state leadership is independent of the national leadership, and apparently they have now affiliated with national IAP.

Not to mention with the new laws passed in Arizona, Americans Elect is done for. Unless you can get them overturned in court.

Fyi Richard; John’s state party is the Arizona affiliate of the IAP

This press release would be better if it explained that John Mealer, although a supporter and member of the Independent American Party, is actually running for Arizona Governor in the Americans Elect Party primary.
