Firebrand 6 Term U.S. Congressman Exposes Iraq War Lies
John Hostettler to Address Country’s Fastest- Growing 3rd Party
Orlando, FL, The Constitution Party, heralded as the country’s ‘new, true conservative party’ will feature former Republican Indiana Congressman John Hostettler as one of the speakers at a two day national meeting to be held in Orlando, FL, December 12-13, 2008.
As a six- term congressman, Hostettler was well known for his strong, constitutionalist positions and was a strong supporter of Constitution Party presidential candidate Chuck Baldwin. (Another noted Constitutionalist, Congressman Ron Paul (R, TX) also endorsed Baldwin.)
In his new book, Nothing for the Nation: Who Got What Out Of Iraq, Hostettler outlines the “intelligence” information presented to him and other members of Congress touted as the rationale for waging war in Iraq.
He questions how “this group of very smart people” could possibly conclude there were WMD’s in Iraq saying, “I thought these “analysts” in the Pentagon would be much more skeptical”.
Hostettler, who served in Congress from 1995- 2007, served on the House Committee on Armed Services, the House Committee on the Judiciary, as Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee Subcommittee on Immigration and on the House Committee on Agriculture.
Arguing that the Iraq war is just one of many examples of flagrant disregard for the rule of law by our government, Hostettler will speak about the shift from authentic ‘conservatism’ which was predicated on Constitutional authority to the current brand of ‘neo-conservatism’ which, he says, is why the “GOP has lost its way”. Hostettler’s remarks will also contain an analysis of the 2008 election.
The two day Constitution Party meeting will be held at the Embassy Suites – Orlando Airport, 5835 T.G. Lee Boulevard, Orlando FL. The gathering is open to the public. Party members assembled from around the country will hear a full slate of speakers, including:
~ Party founder and former presidential nominee Howard Phillips, head of two federal agencies under President Nixon. Phillips is Founder and Chairman of The Conservative Caucus , a conservative grassroots activism and lobbying group.
~2008 Constitution Party candidate Chuck Baldwin a minister and talk show host in Pensacola, FL and his running mate vice presidential candidate Darrell Castle, a Memphis attorney.
~ Constitution Party National Committee Chairman, Lancaster, PA attorney, Jim Clymer.

Good job Hosteteler. I celebrated when you were defeated because the media didn’t mention your true maverick status, but if you can divide the right, thus strengthening Obama and Catholic Trotskyism, I will be happy and you will be fit for heaven.
Open to the public, eh? They’re lucky I’m unable to attend.
