Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader campaigned in Alabama and Mississippi on Saturday. The Montgomery Advertiser says Nader “addressed about 20 supporters in front of the Rosa Parks Library and Museum, and attempted to draw a parallel between his quixotic presidential quests and Parks’ role in the civil rights movement. ‘Rosa Parks challenged the system,’ he said.” Nader “said his candidacy was an attempt to challenge corrupt American systems and to train a generation of activists to carry on the fight.”
Nader then went on to Jackson, Mississippi, where he held a “news conference and book signing,” according to WAPT.com
