Party for Socialism and Liberation Announces Presidential Ticket

Richard Winger reports over at Ballot Access News that the Party for Socialism and Liberation has announced their Presidential ticket.

Last month, the Party for Socialism and Liberation announced that it will run Peta Lindsay for President, and Yari Osorio for Vice-President.

FEC releases official popular vote count from 2008 presidential election

The Federal Election Commission has released its “2008 presidential popular vote summary for all candidates listed on at least one state ballot.” The results:

  • Barack Obama (Democrat) 69,498,516 [52.93%]
  • John McCain (Republican) 59,948,323 [45.65%]
  • Ralph Nader (Independent, Peace and Freedom) 739,034 [0.56%]
