“WASHINGTON — Calling the process essential to preventing overgrowth and promoting renewal, a study released Tuesday by researchers at American University found that regular, controlled Washington, D.C. wildfires are crucial to the restoration of a healthy political environment. “Periodic blazes that destroy sections of the Beltway region are a natural part of the political cycle.”

Actually, there is news here.. The fact that other people, even those writing in the Satire Genre who are recognizing the fact that government has been becoming increasingly unmanageable in its size, scope, and failure rate. We are seeing, more and more, that the people are starting to get it, and THAT, ladies and gentlemen, IS newsworthy. It is not the article itself, but the fact that it is there in the first place!
Something to think about…
Sincerely,
Steve Scheetz

I can see the headline now:
“IPR and the Fed both considering negative interest.”
How d’ya like them onions?
“There’s been some recent offline debate among IPR editors regarding newsworthiness.
“Testing . . . testing. This is only a test. If this had been an actual emergency . . .”
I was going to say “what is this ridiculous shit” until I realized it was the Onion. .. . . but at the same time . . . why would something from the Onion be on here?
The Capitol Building as well as the White House ARE national parks afterall.

And now for something completely different . . .
Seems newsworthy to me.
There’s been some recent offline debate among IPR editors regarding newsworthiness.
Testing . . . testing. This is only a test. If this had been an actual emergency . . .
