During Friday nights “unofficial and all-inclusive” debate, many delegates were impressed by Wayne Allyn Root‘s high intensity level and reliably libertarian positions. But the knowledgeable crowd could not help but titter when Root, not once, but twice called for letters of “marquis” (mark-ee) and reprisal to be issued against terrorists. Someone even shouted, “the word is marque,” pronounced “mark.”

I remind you that Alan Keyes was a CP candidate.
And mispronouncing “marque”- even if it reveals Root’s insincerity- hardly compares with the egregious violations of the Constitution (and state Constitutions) that the “CP” proposes.
If nothing else, I’m glad that the attention being drawn to the LP means we won’t have to deal with serious competition from the CP targeting the same voters we are. Even if Paul continues this infuriating nonsense of “encouraging” both but endorsing neither.
Yes, because only Libertarians care about the Constitution. Oh, and the CP candidates are probably too smart to make such an idiotic mistake.
Only at a Libertarian convention could this possibly be an issue.
I have my moments! ; )
LOL, Gene!
The Marquis de Root!
