Libertarian Edward Martin has qualified for the ballot in Kentucky’s Third District U.S. House race, the AP reported. Martin “is a firsttime candidate who describes himself as a ‘disenfranchised Goldwater Republican.'” The closely watched race features a rematch between Democratic incumbent John Yarmuth and ex-Rep. Anne Northup, the Republican defeated by Yarmuth in 2006.
