Presidential candidate Average Joe Schriner is continuing his “Buckeye Back Road Tour” of Ohio, where he spoke with the ABC and NBC affiliates in Toledo. While Schriner has been running as an independent, he is also seeking the Green Party nomination, about which he says, “The Green Party has, by far, the best platform of any of the parties. Conversely, I do disagree with their pro-choice stance. However in the other areas, it is a paradigm that’s time has come in this country.”
Ohio’s Fremont News-Messenger reported last week, “Schriner, alongside his wife Liz, and his three children have been traveling in an RV across the country, sharing their fresh ideas on some of the major issues in the somewhat stale political realm. Schriner’s grassroots campaign stopped in Fremont for two days.” His running mate is Dale Way.
