This appears to be one opinion where alternative party and independent voters are in agreement, across political boundaries.

This Nader impression is the least funny of the recent “election” bits on SNL… I will admit the part in the Palin rap where the moose came out made me laugh and the bailout skit had some funny stuff.

SNL’s only claim to fame lately has been the sucking up to the candidates. I’ve had to sit through all their bad skits just to see a political guest. What happened? My high school improv team does better work without writers on a whim! Do they know how bad they are?!

SNL has sucked for longer than I can remember, but I’m just saying that out of habit – I haven’t watched it in so long, I no longer have an informed opinion.

Considering that Ralph Nader’s running mate is Matt Gonzalez, I find the sock puppet named “Manuel” more than a bit racist.

Had McKinney been his running mate would he have held up a brown sock and called it “Cindy”?

And, to top it all off, the piece isn’t even remotely funny. I didn’t even break a smile, and I haven’t voted for Nader since 2000.

I’m pretty sure it was Tina Fey as Sarah Palin who upped their ratings.

And you really don’t think they were funny even in the days of George Carlin or Adam Sandler?

SNL has been pretty much a snore for 25 years. This year they have brown-nosed their way into better ratings by sucking up to the Obama Messiah.

This may only be somewhat relevant, but for the Libertarians, Bill Redpath was featured on the Washington, DC NPR station this morning.

He admitted that he would lose credibility if he said that he had a chance to win the Senate race. Instead, he said that he hoped people would find his message anyway.

The interview was brief and edited so that I didn’t actualy learn anything about him, but Redpath sounded reasonable enough.
