Kootenai County, Idaho, Constitution Party: if we don’t get involved politically now, how will we have the courage to take up arms later?

A Respectful Inquiry
13 Dec, 2008

The political and economic outlook is certainly making for some colorful exchanges when one is out doing the work of a political activist. The pain threshold is becoming high enough now for the survival instinct to kick in and get people interested.

I have to say though, when I hear many talking about “leaderless resistance” or making statements like “I’ll take a few of them with me when I go” or “out of my cold dead hands” It gives me pause for thought. Not that I disagree. I pray I have the courage of my convictions and would also defend my God given right of self defense enumerated in the Second Amendment with my guns and my life.

No, the reason for my quandary is, with a few exceptions, most of the people making those statements have come right out and told me they won’t sign our WHAT IF LIST, join the Constitution Party, or do any work for the party because they’re afraid they will wind up on a government watch list.

The questions I now pose are asked with the utmost respect and sincerity: What makes us think we will have the courage to give our lives to defend all we love in the future if we won’t get involved politically now? If we are so afraid of our government we won’t get involved, do we still live in a free country? In the event our country experiences civil unrest or worse, are you satisfied you did what you could to find peaceful political solutions before it happens?

Join us in our fight to restore The Constitution of the United States of America to its proper place of prominence as the supreme law of our republic. We have a plan. Please respond below.
