Libertarian Party daily poll: What is Obama’s biggest ‘screw up’ so far?

Today’s LP.org poll:

Barack Obama admitted he “screwed up” his first few days in office. What is his biggest “screw up” so far?

Not bothering to check the backgrounds of many of nominees, hoping he could “set a record” for fastest Cabinet confirmations

Slapping salary caps on executives for struggling banks, preventing them from hiring experienced managers to stay in business

Backing a $1.2 billion package of wealth transfers and government expansion economists agree does little to create jobs*

Announcing lobbyists would not get jobs in his administration…then quietly hiring 21 registered lobbyists for top positions

If they are going to GIVE these assholes, who apparently can’t manage their businesses any better than I can, a handout from the taxpayers, they damned well better limit how much they can pay themselves or each other, out of that subsidy!

    Good point.

To call “Slapping salary caps on executives for struggling banks, preventing them from hiring experienced managers to stay in business” a screwup is absurd!

If they are going to GIVE these assholes, who apparently can’t manage their businesses any better than I can, a handout from the taxpayers, they damned well better limit how much they can pay themselves or each other, out of that subsidy!

I voted for the 1.2 (and growing)TRILLION as well.

In his defense, it would be difficult if not impossible to find a non-lobbyist, “honest tax payer” in Washington…

And face it, it is not the salaries at the top of the banks that caused the problem, it’s the people who have earned these salaries. If my tax money is going to bailing them out, I don’t want to see the usual suspects getting money I supplied them.

I voted for the $1.2 “billion” (sic) as it is clearly a bigger deal than the other choices.
