From the Indianapolis Star:
By any estimation, David Sanders, the Democratic nominee for Congress in the 4th Congressional District, is an underdog.
He’s running against Republican Secretary of State Todd Rokita in a district that is among the most Republican in the nation.
Which hasn’t at all dissuaded Sanders. In fact, he’s challenged Rokita to debates.
And while Rokita has declined, Sanders is holding them anyway, along with the Libertarian nominee in the district, John Duncan.
The two held a debate earlier this month in Ellettsville and will meet again at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Greenwood Public Library, with or without Rokita.
It is a complete coincidence that the Libertarian candidate in this race shares the name of Republican Congressman John Duncan of Tennessee. You can find the campaign website of the Indiana-based John Duncan here.
