Edward Gonzalez Interviewed By Mark Levin

H/T to Edward Gonzalez’ Facebook page.

Libertarian Edward Gonzalez is running against Democrat Zoe Lofgren for Congress in California. After comedian Stephen Colbert testified before Congress on her behalf,  conservative radio host Mark Levin invited Gonzalez on his show.

It is a good (albeit brief) interview. However, Levin mentions Gonzalez is the only candidate in the race. Although Gonzalez attempted to run as a write-in candidate in the Republican primary, he eventually did not secure that nomination. Apparently Republican Dan Sahagun is also running; I assume he ran a successful right-in candidacy for the nomination, but I am not sure of that.

Gonzalez’ site is here; the interview is here.

I see on Facebook that Ed Gonzalez speaks every week. Dan got out to speak that one time right before the ballots go out. Dan doesn’t even have a YouTube channel. Edward has got a better website and I see his yard signs everywhere. At least he cares.

Edward Gonzalez is out there campaigning hard. Dan Sahagan is nowhere to be seen. He is coasting. I don’t want a coaster in congress, I want someone who will work hard for my liberty. That man is Edward Gonzalez.

Edward Gonzalez “is not” the only candidate running against Zoe Lofgren. Dan Sahagun is the Republican on the ticket. He is endorsed by I Caucus. Former Marine, naturalized US citizen, worked in the fields as a child. Sounds like someone who deserves your vote !!

Daniel Sahagun certainly is on the ballot as the Republican candidate for CA – CD16. Dan is endorsed by iCaucus (a group that I am with) and many other conservative groups.

  5. “Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company,” the CNN statement read. “We thank Rick for his years of service and we wish him well.”

So far, Sanchez hasn’t spoken out about the explosive interview Thursday on “Stand Up! with Pete Dominick.” On the radio show, the now-former CNN star didn’t just make a single impolitic statement, but spoke at length

    — for roughly 20 minutes — about Stewart and a media world he believes to be filled with “elite Northeast liberals” who consider Hispanic journalists “second tier.” Sanchez is a Cuban-American.

He specifically called out Stewart as someone with “a white liberal establishment point-of-view” who “can’t relate to a guy like me.” Also, Sanchez claimed that Stewart is “upset that someone of my ilk is at, almost, his level.”

Sanchez also has yet to address the controversy via Twitter, where he is a frequent user. He even made the social media platform a signature part of his afternoon show, “Rick’s List.”

Sanchez didn’t appear on his 3 p.m. show on Friday, but CNN’s public relations department put out word that he was going to be at a book signing at the CNN Center in Atlanta. It’s unclear whether he attended it.

Sanchez joined CNN in 2004 after working as an anchor in Miami. Prior to that, Sanchez worked as a correspondent at MSNBC, providing breaking news updates at CNBC, and at other local stations.

CNN plans to air “CNN Newsroom” in the “Rick’s List” time slot, weekdays from 3 to 5 p.m.

    “He’s an ex-Marine…”

Don’t let him hear you say that. He is a former Marine. There are no ex-Marines unless they received a BCD or worse.

This is silly. Any Republican in that District needs to back and vote for Libertarian Ed Gonzalez. If the Republicans not even on the ballot, he doesn’t have snowball’s chance. Gonzalez IS on the ballot. Fellow Republicans VOTE FOR THE LIBERTARIAN.

“Would-be commercial launch providers would get no support, while government [NASA] rockets would act as subsidised competition.

[Private] Commercial rockets would also get a bunch of new requirements, which would not be imposed on their government competition.

It’s hard to imagine a more effective way of discouraging investment in commercial spaceflight.”

Dan Sahagun did indeed win the GOP primary through a right in. And he is the Republican nominee against Zoe Lofgren.

Dan was born in Mexico and is a naturalized US Citizen. He’s an ex-Marine and retired Silicon Valley executive who started work in the fields as a teenager. Dan has worked and lived throughout the world. Dan represents the American Dream personified.

Dan is endorsed by many important conservative groups.

It is ironic that Lofgren chooses to make light of the immigration issue when Dan is able to discuss it from first hand experience.
