RI Libertarians convene, endorse Healey

The Libertarian Party of Rhode Island recently held its annual state convention.

Speakers included former presidential candidate Dr. George Phillies, national Libertarian party chairman Mark Hinkle and independent candidate for RI attorney general Robert Rainville.

The party passed a motion to endorse the candidacy of Robert Healey for the office of Lieutenant Governor (www.votehealey.com)

The party also announced the launch of a new website: www.lpri.us

The new LPRI officers are:

    I found a lot of sentiment for a third party in RI when I worked there last year, not sure how much of that will translate into the LP in particular, but the ground is definitely fertile.
