On November 2, David Maynard was elected to one of the seats on the Hillsborough County Soil and Water Conservation Board. He received 84,578 votes and won his 3-way race with 40.0% of the vote. He is a dues-paying member of the Socialist Party USA, although during the campaign he was, and is, a registered Democrat. Thanks to Greg Pason for this news.
Green Party member Anita Stewart was also elected to the same board.
Atlee old man, how are you? I was very saddened to hear of Dave McReynolds passing. You should follow me; I never saw a comment on any of the articles written about me on RT News, my work electing Sawant twice to Seattle City Council, etc. Take care of yourself.
Best Wishes
This is wonderful news for all minor parties. To build a house we must have a solid foundation to build upon.
