A. J. Arias: Announcement – Search is on for an Independent-Internet Liberty Presidential Candidate!

Dear Liberty Friends,

America needs an Independent Liberty candidate for the office of the President.

Although I support Ron Paul for the Republican Nomination, the Congressman’s decision to NOT run Independent will have serious ramifications on the future of our country and our Liberty. I believe that the Republican National Convention will once again shut down Ron Paul. Therefore, we must have a true Independent Liberty Candidate ready to run in the Summer of 2012 who will appeal to Americans on both the Right and the Left outside of the rigged and corrupt Two-Party System.

I have decided that I will NOT be that candidate.

Because of our very young family and our soon-to-be-born baby girl, I am not in the best position to make the sacrifice of campaigning and promoting myself as the best candidate to take over the White House.

The Liberty Coalition (Third Party Alliance) will be holding a nationwide open call to search for a Liberty Candidate who can step up to the plate and become America’s first true “Internet Candidate” who will take the elections by storm, just as Gerald Celente forecasted.

Who are we looking for? The Candidate must:

1) Be at least 35 years old by November 2012 and must be born in the United States.

2) Be absolutely committed to exposing the false division of Left and Right in America.

3) Hold to the ideals of The Liberty Coalition, including a commitment to Liberty, Peace and local Free Markets.

4) Commit to run as an “Independent”, not one particular party; but may receive any endorsements or ballot lines from other political parties or organizations.

5) Commit to producing weekly hard-hitting YouTube videos.

6) Commit to travel to everyone of the Key Electoral States, as campaign funds allow.

7) Be comfortable in giving interviews and be well-poised, well-dressed, well-spoken and well-mannered.

8) Never violate the principles of Liberty and Peace to pander for votes.

9) Not be an active member of (or associated with) any Tea Party organization or Caucus

10) Commit to bringing all U.S. troops home immediately and shut down our Imperial bases and concentration camps.

11) Commit to exposing the 9/11 Government conspiracy theory by demanding full criminal investigations into the Bush and Obama Administrations.

12) Commit to ending all Central Banking, including ending the Fed and removing the World Bank from Washington DC, not just “auditing the Fed”.

13) Commit to ending all laws which establish a Police State, not just the PATRIOT Act.

14) Commit to abolishing the FDA and taking executive steps to stop the dangers of Monsanto to the general public.

15) Commit to not abolish Social Security or Medicare until all Bailouts and Corporate Welfare are first destroyed.

16) Commit to leaving Abortion, Immigration and Homosexuality as MINOR Liberty issues in the campaign.

17) Commit to ending Marijuana Prohibition first and ending the unconstitutional War on Drugs.

18) Agree that all materials submitted for consideration of candidacy will become the property of The Liberty Coalition and may be distributed and broadcasted.

19) Must not have been convicted of any violent crimes of aggression or fraud.

We will soon have details on how to submit your Video Proposal for consideration.

Please share this Note with your friends. We are on the search for an Independent Candidate who will CHANGE American history.

We can do this together. We are committed to this cause. How about you?

In Liberty,

A.J. Arias

[Lake: ah, um, eh, having taught ‘civics’ on the middle, secondary (high school), and tertiary (college) level I can tell you that my expanded United States Constitution says ‘upon taking oath of office’. Earlier, this was in March following ‘the second Tuesday in November’ * and now is on 20 January.]

@1, DWP, thank you for clarifying that here.
@3, Andy, agreed, the earlier an Independent gets started on ballot access, the better.
But running Independent has the advantage of still being in the running after the conventions. & there is a good chance an undesirable ticket will get nominated.
Mr. Arias, if you are insistent on a Ron Paul counterrevolutionary clone, I’m not your candidate.
Otherwise I may very well be.

Good luck getting ballot access. It is very difficult to get on the ballot in most states, so rather than reinventing the wheel, why not just focus on getting a good candidate for the Libertarian Party? The Libertarian Party should have ballot access in at least 29 or 30 states going into 2012, so getting the remaining 20 0r 21 states plus Washington DC should be an attainable goal. Starting from strach as an independent means that you’d have to do petition drives in almost every state (except the 3 you can get on without a petition right now) plus DC.

Also, if you start midway during 2012 you will have already missed the ballot access deadline in some states, and in other states you’d have very little time to do your petition drive.

note on #9 – the BTP is not a “TEA” party
