Most of the 21 Montclair officials who were reported to the state for failing to file Financial Disclosure Statements have now handed in those documents, according to the Township Clerk’s Office.

The Libertarian Party and John Paff, chairman of its Open Government Advocacy Project, complained to the Local Finance Board last month that 21 elected or appointed Montclair officials had failed to file their statements. State law requires that the signed forms be filed by April 30.
