Laurie Roth Ends Presidential Bid Due to Lack of “ballot access, money, or infrastructure”

Laurie Roth is a conservative talk radio show host based in Washington. She ran for the Presidential nomination of the Constitution Party, receiving little support from delegates. She was also in contention for the presidential nomination of the American Independent Party in California. However, she recently ended her presidential campaign.

We have a little over 3 months before the election of the century.  I do not have the ballot access, money or infrastructure to get on the ballot and compete.  I know beyond anyone that God can do miracles and does everyday and I do not step aside due to circumstances and lack of funds but because I believe God is leading me to do so.  I will continue fighting for my country in other developing ways i.e.  my weekly articles, building my national radio show to the top 5 and developing TV shows for placement.

Who ever ends up in the White house this next time, either Obama or Romney,  the people STILL have a bold responsibility to pray for their country,  stand up for their fought for freedoms and do what is right.  Our 1st amendment and 2nd amendment rights are under vicious and manipulative assault.  Neither guy running, Romney or Obama are saints.  It is clear both have power agendas and will compromise their morals and principles to win.  They are both ‘pretty boy’ political zombies in my view.

The way the political system is built, no one else can win, however.  It is simply rigged, sad but true.  Assuming this and not being happy with the choices at hand, what does God want us to do?  What can we do?

Laurie Roth later calls Mitt Romney a “political whore” and also states she will vote for him, instead of Obama.

Continuing to vote for the R’s and the D’s will produce the same results we have received for 150 years. What are the results? $16T in the hole and going rapidly in the wrong direction. Vote for Goode and other CP candidates. Where no CP candidate exists, give great consideration to the LP candidate. The CP and LP need to become more dominant than the Democratic-Republican Party.

#1….? We are on agreement with that statement[*People like her who vote for a candidate that is the lesser of two evils are whats wrong with this country.]

Voting for “the lesser of two evils” is still voting for evil, and voting against someone rather than for someone is almost as bad, if not the same thing. Voters should vote for the individual reasoned to be the best candidate, but there is the rub…. How do you do that when the system is dominated by two-party politics, and neither of those candidates are the one you think is best? Just vote your heart (and your brain)? Yes, I think that is the answer. Of course, there are others of the “party faithful” who would probably call it “sticking your head in the sand and throwing your vote away” but some people “around here” might call it “having some backbone” too, and I think that appeals to me.

@4 I just about fell out of my chair laughing at that lol

  9. From Der Sidelines August 5, 2012

She must be a pretty bad candidate if God Himself tells her to quit…

” I do not step aside due to circumstances and lack of funds but because I believe God is leading me to do so. ”

So that means she has the funds but God thinks she’s another lousy candidate?

Or is that just an excuse that she really is a lousy candidate is a lousy statist mini-party?

She needs to seriously consider Gary Johnson.

  12. Reed E August 5, 2012

She could vote for Gary Johnson or Virgil Goode. People like her who vote for a candidate that is the lesser of two evils are whats wrong with this country.
