We’ve been through this. I DO NOT BELIEVE that stuff is happening. Let me guess: you’ve never had a child in school. Well, I have, and that nonsense does not happen, at least in my experience.
As I told you before, I will continue to pray that you will be enlightened someday. In the meantime, I have nothing else to say to you.
And Andy’s right–the above has nothing to do with whether 2 people who love each other should marry or not.

Once again, I fail to see what this has to do with two gay adults forming a voluntary relationship.
You are talking about an education issue. My response to this is to eliminate the government schools. I understand that this is a difficult thing to do politically, so outside of getting the government out of education, I’d urge people to place their kids in private school of their choice, or to home school them. If neither option is possible, I’d suggest lobbying your local school board, or perhaps running for a position on the local school board. Another option is to file a law suit against the school if you believe they are teaching offensive material.

You are the perfect example of what I spoke to the Modesto Tea Party of last night – Social Engineering.
When we were a sane nation ANYONE who tried to do any of the actions which I mention above or at CandleCrusade.org would have been run out of town at best if not simply lynched for any such monstrous and horrific acts against children.
Fast forward to our socially engineered, politically correct, and just plain cowardly culture we find that all morality is completely reversed. What would have been impossible to imagine before is now accepted public policy which is actually supported, defended, and promoted as being ” tolerant.” In our sickened nation the defense of children is called ” bigotry,” ” bashing,” and ” hating.”
It is simply astounding, and so sad, that countless ctizens will betray the children of the nation just so that they will not be called ” homophobic.” Just to protect their precious egos from the horror of horrors for a liberal – looking bad.
It is also astounding we don’t have the love and courage to tell males acting like females and females acting like males that 1) they are sick and need help; and ( especially ) 2) that they cannot prostylitize our children to accept their sickness. We are so sick that we not only will not stop their attack upon children but we will literally hand them over to their attackers to show how ” open-minded ” we are.
This is why our nation is dying and this is why it will die – because the citizens are morally dead.

I fail to see what two gay adults voluntarily entering into a relationship has to do with molesting children.

It’s not good when the stuff that comes out one’s mouth is the same as what comes out one’s anus. Cut the crap and cut the budget.
As a bisexual libertarian (not religious in the slightest either) myself, I’ll say this. State’s rights is pretty weak, especially here in North Carolina where “Pro-tradtional marriage” Amendment One just passed a few months ago. But it’s local tyranny, and that is *slightly* better than federal tyranny. But the fact that the majority of the locals are against something is irrelevant to me. The problem with democracy is that people can vote away the rights of others. Vote for higher taxes, vote for tougher drug laws, vote for “tradtional marriage” *eye roll*.
But the most obvious solution, as pointed out here, is government being out of the marriage buisness all together. Or even better, the government being out of buisness all together!
But as the video said, they are in the marriage game. So the libertarian solution, at the moment, has to be supporting legalized gay marriage. For the time being.

Yes, Yes, Yes,Yes
this has been best, easiest, most fair solution to this problem since FOREVER, but social conservatives will not accept it because they want gay-marriage to be outlawed, declared morally wrong and hetero-marriage rewarded with special status and priveledges.
Despite their rhetoric, social cons and tea partiers (most) want church and government collaborating…as long as it THEIR church.
They refuse to see how this could backfire and continue to fight a losing battle for a side that is both morally and legally wrong.

while I have mixed feelings about gay marriage due to my religious up bringing, I wholeheartedly oppose the republican socialist agenda of constitutionally defining marriage. If marriage is truely a union before god (something I personally believe) then what right does the state have to define it. By defining it the state is essentially saying the state is equal to god (hence there is no god). In my opinion the state has no business in marriage and should only issue civil union licences. Marraige is a sacred institution which belongs to the spiritual realm not the state.
I believe this is nothing less than a civil rights issue, and it’s just a matter of time before every state allows same-gender marriage. There are soooo many more important things for people in this country to worry about.
While I personally oppose gay marraige, I believe this is a state and even local issue that the federal government should have absolutely no jurisdiction. I personally have no problem with voters approving gay marriage referendums in Maine, Washington, and Maryland or any other state in which they are proposed. I also believe that citizens of a state who vote to amend their state constitution to prohibit homosexual marriage (like the 86% of Mississippians who did so) should have their voice honored as well. It is insanity how ultra-liberal activist judges are annulling the will of the people, as is the case with the federal courts in relation to California’s Prop 8.
