Holy Bolsheviks, Batman! Who knew?

You need to post the US-Russia Agreement by a
website link here.
Russian troops have been in Alaska since 1924 on
Wrangell Island. They have damaged American
Property in Alaska. In fact in 1959 the Foreign
Claims Settlement Commission had awarded
damage claims to American Citizens for damages
by the Soviet Occupation of Wrangell Island, Alaska in 1924.
For background, Wrangell Island was annexed by
the United States Government in 1881. In 1884
Congress placed Wrangell (aka New Columbia)
Island in Alaska when it made Alaska a District of these United States in the First Alaska Organic Act of May 17, 1884. In 1912 the District
of Alaska was upgraded to a Territory of the United States. On April 1, 1924, Della Adams was the first child born on Wrangell Island. That
was the same date that the Lomen Bros. of Nome, Alaska purchased the entire island. The
Soviets at the time wanted to take Wrangell Island from Alaska. Word got back to the United
States of the Soviet Plan to invade Wrangell Island, Alaska. On May 13, 1924, then United
States Secretary of State Charles Evans Hughes
informed Carl Lomen at a meeting at the Embassy of Norway that his firm should hold
the island against Soviet bogus claims, because
Soviets have no claims under international law
to Wrangell Island, which had been part of Alaska for 40 years.
For the last 89 years the Soviets/Russians have
been in occupation of part of the State of Alaska,
viz., Wrangell Island in the Arctic Ocean.
Sincerely, Mark Seidenberg, Vice Chairman
American Independent Party of California
