I switched around the left sidebar widgets as mentioned in an earlier post. Recent comments is now the first one.
I also changed the ad for my book, reducing its size (and making it directly to Amazon instead of to my site).

Regular readers no longer have to scroll past the categories to see recent comments. For new readers, it’s self-explanatory.
My only wish now is for the recent entries column on the right be expanded to 20 entries like the list near the bottom left.
Definitively preferred it the way it is before. It’s gong to make this site a bit harder to access and figure out for new readers.
However, I guess it can’t hurt to see how this will work.
