On Tuesday, Aug. 13, Adrian Wyllie, Florida’s 2014 Libertarian Gubernatorial hopeful, was provided prime on Peter Schiff’s Nationally-syndicated and libertarian-leaning radio talk show.
Schiff, who served as economic advisor for the Ron Paul campaign, pressed Wyllie on multiple occasions to abandon his Libertarian campaign and agree to take on Governor Rick Scott in the Republican Primary, or possibly even Charlie Crist in the Democratic Primary.
However, Wyllie stood strong by his decisions to not only stick with his Libertarian principles, and heralded the virtues and proclaimed his allegiance to the Libertarian Party .

I am proud to be supporting Adrian Wyllie for the Libertarian nomination for Governor and will continue to donate to his campaign. He is solid, dependable, energetic and articulate.
When is the primary?
Adrian Wyllie will win the Libertarian primary for Governor here in Florida.
Adrian already has over 600 volunteers working to get the word out about the campaign. Because of those efforts he received 8.7% of the vote in a scientific poll.

I applaud Adrian for staying true to the LP.
Personally, I cannot think of anything Peter Schiff has ever done to advance liberty, and his pathetic claim that somehow Republicans are more friendly to freedom is laughable.
How pro-liberty were George Bush or Rudy Guliani, the two most prominent Republicans in the last 20 years?
Florida has never had a primary for a minor party for statewide office (although there was a Libertarian primary for one state legislative seat). The 2014 Libertarian Florida gubernatorial primary will be a real change for Florida.
Does Schiff have any street cred in the GOP? I think not! His Senate race was a disaster. At least his old man went to the slammer for his convictions (no pun intended).
I’m personally excited about Steve La Bianca. I hope he comes up with some information we can post here.

This summer it seems I’m always hearing that Republicans have a liberty wing and maybe you should join us to help change the Republican Party from within. Or our elected official in SD 7 is a libertarian, even though that person supported legislation like the top two primary. There are good people in the Republican party, but just to elect Republicans just because they are not Democrats isn’t the answer to solving America’s crisis of over spending and the assault on our civil liberties and the 4th Amendment.
