“Fools make a mock at sin: but among the righteous there is favor.” Proverbs 14:9

What is a victimless crime? One could look up the Libertarian Party’s definition on p876 of the 2003-2004 Wisconsin Blue Book, in their Party Platform, to quote: Victimless crime: “Because only actions that infringe on the rights of others can be properly termed “crimes”, we favor the repeal of federal, state, and local laws restricting our fundamental freedom to govern our own lives. In particular, we advocate: The repeal of laws restricting the production, sale, possession, or use of prohibited drugs and medicines. The repeal of laws regarding a minimum drinking age which are in conflict with the legally recognized age for maturity and responsibility. The repeal of laws restricting consensual sexual relations between adults. The repeal of laws regulating or prohibiting gambling. The decriminalization of assisted suicide.” The 2011 plank off LPOW’s website reads the same, verbatim. Such a plank comes from LPOW’s favorite sage, Lysander Spooner who wrote:
- “Vices are not crimes: a vindication of moral liberty.”(1875)
- “Natural Law; or The Science of Justice: A Treatise on Natural Law, Natural Justice, Natural Rights, Natural Liberty, and Natural Society; Showing that All Legislation Whatsoever is an absurdity, A Usurpation, and a Crime. Part First. (1882)
According to Ron Paul;“You can do anything you want with your lives. Accepting Lysander Spooner’s two principles of true common law would go a long way to improving this country.” Mr. Benedict D. La Rosa weighs in as well, “The laws are political, or man-made, and reflect not truth and justice, but power.” He further states, “Public and private morality are considered the same thing, which justifies making private morality public policy. What one does in the privacy of one’s home with consenting adults, (gambling for example) must meet the same standard as public behavior. As a result, vices become crimes,”So much for self-government being self-restraint to the Libertarians.
The Libertarians reject God when they affirm any law is a bad law because it is a law. They view criminals as wonderful people, and the world would be a better place if only the crooks weren’t punished. (Al Capone was a mobster before prohibition; not an altar boy.) The Libertarians work to legalize euthanasia, nudity, prostitution, child porn, child sex, and recreational drugs. They want to keep sodomy, abortion, booze, and gambling legal.
CPoW affirms that the Law is to restrain the lawless, “We know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers, and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing contrary to sound doctrine; According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God,..” I Timothy 1:8-11. We mean to re-criminalize Abortion, Euthanasia, Rape, and Child Molestation with the Death Penalty. We know that when parents gamble away the family budget the children suffer. When the man of the house goes a whoring, he gives his money to a whoremonger, and VD to his wife. The Victim- less crime is a fantasy, dreamed up by immoral men. “Likewise also, these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.” Jude:8 In Fundamental matters of Justice, we are the diametric opposite of Lysander Spooner and the Libertarian Party. Mr. William Linn had an answer for such men, “Let my neighbor once persuade himself that there is no God, and he will soon pick my pocket, and break not only my leg, but my neck. If there be no God, no future account; government then is the ordinance of man only, and we cannot be subject for conscience sake.” John Hall, in 1829 stated, “Men do things their fathers would have deprecated, and then draw about themselves a flimsy cordon of sophistry, and talk about the advance of humanity and liberal thought, when it is nothing after all but a preference for individual license.”
CPoW works to cut the Federal Government down to Constitutional size: namely Article I, Section 8; not because laws are evil, but because every power entrusted to man comes from God. God-delegated authority is therefore limited and ministerial, including the powers of the Federal Government. No mere mortal should have unlimited powers. It is a widely held belief that all levels of civil government, Federal, State and Local should total up to less than 10%. Why? Because God commands a 10% tithe to the Church, thus when the civil government exceeds 10%, it exalts itself against God. The Christian/Constitutional view of law presupposes that sovereignty reposes in the being of God Almighty. Libertarians presuppose that sovereignty reposes in man’s reason. That is why I am not a supporter of Ron Paul, Lysander Spooner, or the Libertarian Party. “Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom. As nations become corrupt and vicious, they have more need of masters.”- Benjamin Franklin
